There are ways to make money but they all take time; knowledge and commitment. If you search the threads you will find ideas that you can adapt and use.
But it is best sticking to areas/niches that you know and/or are willing to study. Start off small and see how it grows.
You will struggle to get any really good ideas on here because folk will be doing that to make money for themselves and are unlikely to tell you.
Everything I buy and sell is easily repeatable by anyone else and if I mentioned it IO would be out of business tomorrow.

I can only second what others have said here, follow your niche and research research research. If you have an interest in an activity then you will know more about it and will find it easier to spot where there is money to be made.
There are a lot of people on here that are in need of money like yourself, they have spent a lot of time researching their area of the market and put a lot of effort into building it.

Do you know if you are having a girl or boy?
If you PM if its a girl, I will gladly send you some newborn girl clothes. I believe in Karma and what goes around comes around. And many people helped me when my 2 girls were born within a year of each other.
Dont let people get you down, one suggestion may lead to another which in turn may lead to the idea that you can turn into a business.
Kind Regards

Thank you sarah, I am having my first scan tomorrow but am sure its a girl as I have a feeling! (which area are you from?)
As for the money I need to make, I am not good at anything any more! I have been thinking for ages! I am just one of those people who used to be successful in jobs etc and now I have kids I just have 'baby brain' so am no use now for nothing except being mum! (which I love!)0 -
Is there anyway you could use those skills to make money?0

Your actually sounding a bit down peanut whatever you do don't splash money out all over the place trying to make a profit.
Start small and if you put the effort in it will come.
A started with watches bought from EBay Singapore then computer RAM from Ebay USA. These didn't make a great deal of money but did teach me a lot about buying and selling on EBay.
I spend hours a week searching for new products but most of those tend to be one hit wonders (ie I buy 10 or so and then there are no more) I have only had 3 very profitable sources one of which came and went and that was when Sommerfield was sold (oh those were the days).
I still have my first source but profitability there has dropped over the past year and I perhaps buy one or two items a week now down from 10-20 per day.
My current big seller is stuff I buy online from a manufacturer, I play the system slightly to get various discounts to make it work. So to all intents and purposes I am a one trick pony which will come to an end at some stage.
I must keep evolving.
My biggest disaster was was buying fashion items which I know nothing about and lst me a bit of money. Most went to my courier drivers as Xmas presents.
So as has been said research and learn it will come if you are serious.0 -
While you are waiting to find your niche or product to sell the best thing you can do I feel is to make a 'job' out of saving money - make it a mission to look at every penny leaving your house and see if it can be spent better by looking at every corner of MSE.
Look at every area of your life like your fuel bills, phone bills, insurances etc and see if you can make it work better but above all look at the Old Style board if you haven't already, there is so much information there it even got put into a book 'Thrifty Ways for Modern Days'. You'll see over there that there is much support and advice about cutting back on your shopping and cleaning bills and many of the users are SAHM like you that really make a success out of living better on less money, they are all evangelical about their 'job'.
When you've done reading about the savings you can make then look at things like pigsback or quidco to get small amounts of cash that add up over the year, you'll be suprised that just a few clicks a day on a couple of websites will bring you possibly hundreds of pounds per year - really - I just do pigsback and for no more than a few minutes each day I get around £100 in Boots vouchers each year, I know that many people get much, much, more but I don't really go at it with a vengeance like some users do....
Keep your chin up, keep your eyes open to every possiblility and an opportunity will cross your path - just make sure that you recognise it when it does0 -
