    I wouldn't bother with e-books.

    Hi,

If you are going to write an e book I suggest you write it on what you are an expert on...

What did you do in your career before children? what sort of ideas make a person successful in your industry? What do companies look for when they employ someone in this industry? and what other great 'secrets' can you impart - without breaching confidentiality of course.

What family recipes are great finds that could be worth reselling? My daughters love my grandads Mint Sauce, Mayo, Marie Rose sauce etc, to me they arent worth selling but some families have great recipes for all sorts of things handed down.

Childrens stories? How to....? A guide to a hobby you may have? Baby food recipes?

Obviously you want a 'quality product' to turn into an ebook, and something that people are interested in. What about asking some of the mums up the school what they would want in an ebook? I bet they would all say real work from home opportunities and not scams, so you may sell a few ebooks on this subject if you have the time to do your research etc.

Dont give up at the first hurdle, dont let other negative comments deter you, as my man says dont beat yourself up when others are queueing round the block to do it (very profound isnt he!). Dont be surprised in your first attempt doesnt set the world on fire, just keep trying.

Good luck with Baby 3, and keep us posted about the book.

    Kind Regards

    Sarah

Perhaps the OP is looking for some constructive comments. Have never experienced ebooks, but great ideas from saraharrow.

I suppose the obvious question is: what time do you have to achieving an extra income, especially with a littl'un on the way. Also, is there another in your household who could help gain that income. Your answer may not lay with Ebay.

Best wishes for yourselves and baby no. 3

Do you have a hobby that you perhaps develop into a business?

Because I am asking you to and some people are decent human beings who would help out someone who needs it! I am certainly one of those people and have given all my baby clothes etc away to someone who really needed it and now I am left having to rebuy it all as I never expected to get pregnant again! I thought there was something called Karma??? where is my good karma and guidance from helping all the people I help?! whats the point! I just wanted a chance to stay at home and bring MY children up and not sit on my bum and expect benefits to roll in (no offence to anyone!). But looks like I am going to have to leave my baby with whoever just so I can get a roof over our heads, I do work for my hubby, doing the paperwork side of things for his job but I don't get paid and his wage is to low! I just needed help; and thought I would ask before I get that depressed!!!!!!!
