Don't understand this post ? I have a Halifax credit card and i make payments from my First Direct account online to it with no problems ? Halifax is listed as a beneficiary on FD's online banking, you just type in your card number as the reference.0

Two balance transfer fees because of this?
Just read the paperwork they send you and this need not have happened.0 -
Halifax CS is pants and they are going downhill fast... Even complaining is no good you get a standard reply saying they have investigated and the CS person has done their bit as per rules!!!...
Though unfortunately I have most of my banking with them , that is more of a financial decision as they have the best ISA rates since 2007 especially on fixed rates.
But looks like the the OP has unecessarily thrown a fit instead of applying logic. I use online banking so that I do not have to interact with their CS. First time I have seen such horrible CS from a UK based call centre as ooposed to some outsourced asian call centre(before any of you PC guys jump at me I am asian):beer::beer:0
