You could get the pre-release ones last time they did an offer. I remember I got Scissor Sisters for about 700 points and it wasn't due out for weeks. The 'order' goes through for half points on the nectar site then you get an email from CD-Wow to confirm it will be dispatched after such and such a date.

I also got 4 or 5 last time that were already out, and they were all dispatched separately as and when they were available.

I have about 8000 points, so I'm planning a bit of a spree!

Just gone into the Nectar website to order my CD's but it keeps taking me to the wine offer. It is now Saturday the 7th is it not?

It looks like the website hasn't been updated yet. I'm tempted to order some anyway and argue the point later if need be.

I wonder if the Nectar website is still on GMT, in which case we will have to wait until 1am. Not too bad for me, I'm in New Zealand now so it's the middle of the day but I want to go out!

Here's the link to the offer but i still see normal prices, does it update when you check out normally, or do you have to wait until the site updates the prices?

Is there any way to spend nectar points directly with CD-wow rather than through nectar.com? The t&c of the offer says 50% off when paying for CDs supplied by CD-wow with nectar points. Some of the titles I want from CD-wow aren't avaiable through the nectar CD search.

i think it has to be through nectar, but i could be wrong

You 'purchase' the CD using your points on the Nectar website, just the ones on their website, but they actually come from CDWOW. You can't shop with CDWOW direct using your points.

seems to be the case. I even trird cutting and pasting the item number from the address bar in CD-wow onto the end of the nectar address! no luck.
