Maybe the llama could have entertained them...

The babies would have loved Molly xXMessedUpXx , but unfortunately she can be a bit 'spity' with children , and I dont think the Yummies would have been overjoyed with having Llama spit on their precious ones

Yeah, exactly my point, although I would have not been quite so crass

I was just thinking about xXMessedUpXx's comment, and TBH I am not sure they allow animals in the restaurant, although I guess that I could potentially have put Molly in a high vis jacket , got Norman to act blind, and said she was a guide Llama .

Oh tod, you really should have gone over to the baby's mum and offered her the benefit of your breast-feeding wisdom. I'm sure you would have [STRIKE]got a smack in the mouth[/STRIKE] a lovely big thank you from her. :D

Oh dear - not only sqalling brats, but obviously, brats of PNLU!

You should have complained to the management that they are letting in the wrong sort of mummy! Confess Tod - it was the fact that they were bottle-feeding that upset you the most!

Now don't exaggerate, only one of us was bottle feeding, I was quite happily breast feeding and would have welcomed any constructive input you had on the matter.

For instance, my baby was spoiled with"skin-to-skin" shortly after birth and now prefers me to be naked from the waist up when feeding her. What should I do?

It is obviously a problem when dining in high end resturants. And my refusal to get the full breastical pair out resulted in the screaming you described in your first post. Had your Llama not been obstructing your view I'm sure you would be complaining about indecent exposure as well....

I have some sympathy here. We were having afternoon tea and cakes in the tearoom at a National Trust property on Monday and we were subjected to a quite hideous child throwing a tantrum. It was about 3 years old but was clearly capable of running rings round its idiotic parents. Every time it wanted its own way it let out appalling high-pitched squealing until they gave way.

Parents should be taking such children out of a restaurant until they calm down and learn to behave in a socialised manner. Subjecting the rest of us to her screeching is just dreadful parenting.

It MAY be because i work in a Children's Centre so the whole breastfeeding/bottlefeeding issue is, shall we say, a "hot topic"... BUT i am almost literally wetting my pants over this thread! The whole blind Norman, guide llama post made me laugh out loud!

Thanks Tod - your posts make my day! Don't stop, ever!!
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?
