all inclusive shortage?

I have booked a hol to zante on mon aug 13th, have got invoice/booking details today, they have booked our room from sun 12th even though we will not have the room until around 9.00 am on mon at best, we also have to vacate the room on the sun at 12 noon (all inclusive finished) we then have to sit around no food or drinks until 5am on mon for 8.25 flight. that means we are paying for a room on sun night even though we dont fly out until mon morning.
whats my chances of legally cancelling this hol without losing my deposit?
7 nights all inclusive should mean 7 nights not 6

    Who's it booked with and what time do you fly from the UK on 13th August?

    They might allow you to change to a holiday with better flight timings, but this might be a more expensive holiday.

    It's international convention that check in is after about 3pm and check out before 12noon, would you prefer to check in after 3pm on the Monday?

    it just seem to be a bit of a rip off we are paying for 7 nights all inc ,but are only going to get 6
    we fly out at 1.55 am mon arrive 7.25 leave at 8.25 following mon its with direct hols

    If you had arrived at 9 and no room was available until 3 Im sure you would have a moan about that too.
    I always book an extra night so we have the use of it right up to departure.
    But then again, I don't do package holidays, prefering to tailor make to suit us exactly

    room will be ( or should be) available from around 4pm the previous day

    My guess is that price should reflect the poor flight times and the AI provision

    You will be bound by there T&C's which you would have had to agree to prior to the booking being accepted. It's unlikely that the T&C's will allow a full refund.

    Surely you were aware of the flight times before you booked? If not then why did you book without knowing what you were booking?

    i knew the times but surley 7 nights means 7 nights we arrive mon,tue,wed,thurs,fri,sat and al linc finishes sun midday htis is only 6 nights we dont leave till 8.25 am mon morn

    If you book a night flight then your hotel room is booked from the day before so that it's available when you arrive. Your hotel room is booked from Sunday to Sunday (7 nights) and your all inclusive runs from Sunday to Sunday, it's just that due to your flight times you won't be there until early Monday morning to use the room/all inclusive.
    You will probably be able to extend the All inclusive by a day directly with the hotel so that you can use it up until pick up time on the day of departure.

    It's 7 nights, Sunday to Sunday, the hotel ain't interested in your flight times.
