These aren't particulary good specs for the price either - Link

The easy place to get your first, very affordable and internet ready computer

    Laptop Computer

    £199 Available to anyone!

£169 Available to people receiving certain benefits and to charities.

Now this is utter crap at the price. :)

Laptop: Single core Celeron processor, 1Gb RAM, 40Gb HDD. Maybe an hour battery life. For £169 to £199??

    PC: Pentium 4(?), 1GB RAM, 40 GB HDD, 15" Monitor. £99 to £149.

    30 day warranty...

Sorry but this is just old hat, that should be knocked out at half the price at the most.

    What are they thinking?

On the front page it suggests that the laptop will look similar to this:

Though once you click through to purchase, you get this:

    laptop.jpg

Huh? What happened? Bait and Switch?

    Same with the PC.

    From this: homepage-desktop.png

    Dodgy.

Ok thanks for that, I don't mind spending £300 plus if someone can point me out a decent laptop for the extra cash, I don't understand computer setups although I have no trouble operating them, so ok I will push my budget to 300 to 400, please suggest a good laptop for me please

There is a specific thread for sub £350 laptops here. Seek it out.
