Help missold phone contract
Please can someone give me some advice. I signed up to a new contract through phones 4 u on 11th April with the promise that my number would be transferred to my new contract within 3 days. This never happened and I was then informed it would not be transferred until 11th May.
I tried contacting Phones 4 U several times by email and phone as the service I got in the shop where I purchased the contract was appalling.
Eventually managed to speak to someone at Phones 4 U today and was told they could not cancel my contract but could offer me a months free payment.
What are my rights??? I was missold the contract after being given incorrect information and received dreadful after sales assistance from the shop - am I entitled to cancel the contract due to their error???
Where do I go from here - I am fed up with Phones 4 U!!!

Is the delay in transferring your number the only problem you have? If it is then I'd suggest that a months free payment is probably acceptable if everything else is in order.
I've been on the receiving end of Phones4u's sharp practice and shoddy service myself: never again.0
