Lies on court statement for child access

you know, I'm a great believer in what goes around comes around. You hang in there, it'll all come good eventually.
On a more practical note, if DSD is 10 then it won't be long until she has her own mobile phone and perhaps this will open up a new line of direct communication.

It won't be long before she has a mobile phone? I don't know why her father hasn't bought her a pre-paid/top up one by now.

Possibly he has and the mother has removed it - we've had threads on that subject on here before. We used to make sure DSD had a phone with her with her dad's number entered in it and double checked by calling. If it came back at all it had no credit and no charge left. On one occasion we think her mum even amended the number on the phone so that DSD couldn't ring her dad - we checked the call history and it was correct when we entered it so we can't think of any other explanation.

When it comes to the Family Courts it can seem that perjury isn't that big a deal. DSD's mum lied through her teeth and never got pulled up on it 'formally'. However, the inconsistencies in her statements etc did get noticed and didn't win her any friends. Our solicitor's advice was to provide the evidence, stay shtum and let the court give the other parent enough rope to hang themselves with. They really have seen it all before. She won't be the first to claim black is white and the clerks were very on the ball - and they brief the judge...

Do you have a call record on your phone you could use to back up your assertion? It isn't the strongest evidence in the world, but it would help.

With regards to the phone, we don't know who signed for it. It was about a year ago now and all it said online when we checked was that it had been signed for and delivered.

Do you still have the tracking number? I don't know how long Royal Mail keep tracking information for, but it would be worth seeing if you can retrieve proof of delivery (including the signature).
