Evening All
Not much doing today, had to go and pay bills today (Council extortion fee, water :mad:, tv licence:mad: and electric) I wish DH's wages kept up with it all:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Dinner was lasagne and we will have the rest tomorrow, so it saves me cooking from scratch.
Need to get some bits from the GG, wilko and some milk from Aldi tomorrow, so it will be a nice cheap shopping trip, I am doing the month without the supermarket challenge, so I won't be using any of the big shops just local shops, Wilko F/Foods and Aldi. I have hade 2 NSD's so far so I am happy with that.

Glorious sunshine here and it's been warm too.

It's been a loooooon day here! Recruiting new work kids in work this morning, then off to uni this afternoon. I'm happy cos I've now passed all my uni assignments, just one observed teaching to do now :j. But I'm so annoyed with the uni/college itself :mad:. Session was meant to start at 3pm today and we had group presentations to do, so my group met at 1pm to rehearse. And the sodding lecturer didn't come in til 4.30pm!! :mad: So by the time we had finished it was half hour over our end time. And to make things even worse, only 4 people passed the last assignment (out of 20! I was one of the 4), but she told the 4 of us that we had passed in front of everyone else who had failed! :eek: How unprofessional is that?!

OS wise - WM been on and dried outside, lunch was freezer mea;, although dinner was from the chippy :rotfl:

Thanks for all the good wishes, they are really appreciated, am ok to-day. Funeral is on Friday morning, followed by cremation....am not going to cremation, find them very hard to handle, we are heading off to DS1 so will go from church.

Adelight...condolences on your Gran's death....

Ruby...speedy recovery wishes for DD.

Dinner to-day was ham and cabbage, with some of the delicious potatoes that Aldi have on offer this week...2kg for 29c...must get more to-morrow. I am mostly building meals around their supersavers or whatever they call it....they are great value and the quality is excellent.

It has been dry all day here, would even go so far as to say that it has been 'warm', lovely feeling not to have to battle the wind and rain.

Had my hair cut to-day, am trying to keep it in shape now as have seen a few photos of how I looked with long hair and it did nothing for my looks!

Knitting group are having a coffee morning for Alzheimer's society to-morrow, we have been busy knitting tea cosies to sell....mine was not very intricate but some have done wonderful creations, hopefully we will have a good attendance and all the cosies will sell...many of us in the group are of an age when A might rear its ugly head so a very good cause.
