Morning everyone
Didnt post yesterday as had school trip with DS.
Its not raining here :T No sunshine or such like BUT no wet stuff. lets see how long that lasts.
Got our bed to strip today, upstairs needs a boomin good vac and a dust. off to forest schools this aft with DD. Been wae since 5.30am due to KC so feel tired and all bunged up with a cold. Still no rest for the wicked......and I must have been very wicked :rotfl:
Tea is a makeshift as I am going to drag my @ss to tap class
Adelight hugs for you xxx
Meanmarie hugs for you too xxx
Redruby - hope DD is feeling better soon xx

redruby ((hugs)) to your dd, it's ruddy painful at times
((hugs)) meanmarie
Thanks for the hugs and good wishes everyone. There are a lot less tears in the family since my nan passed away yesterday, everyone is relieved.Basically we're all just trying to carry on as normal as possible, my nan would be Pee-ed off if anyone !!!!!!ed up their exams or businesses.
I'm at my parents so not much OS, house is immaculate as ever but might make some samosas with my sister later.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Good morning and hugs to anyone who could do with one.Its really nice here at the moment,so I've put the washing out on the line, and put all the dog bedding in the washer too.I need to find more washing line though,I only left one out over the winter, and it wont be enough.
The window cleaner has been so all sparkly now,so hope the wind has gone-the garden is a mess with all the twigs and leaves etc that got blown around. He only comes once a month but it is worth it for me as we have a lot of windows and they always end up streaky when I do them and I have aching shoulders
May spend some time gardening this aft if it stays nice, otherwise will cut out DGD new dress. We are going to football tonight so we need tea early, and cant decide what to do-there is a curry in the fridge, but we go on a minibus and the garlic fumes might be a bit much :rotfl:Think it will have to be quiche.
Right, back to the housework, bye for now x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Hello and hugs to all who need one.......
Adelight, pleae accept my condolences about your Grandmother
Meanmarie, I hope you are feeling better today
Well Mr Rage had to go out before work today to get some more painkillers for meLovely sunny day and I'm itching to get out in the garden but bending or stretching is a complete no-no with "Bill" having a turn so I can only look out and envy..... Looks like a goldfinch nest in the yew has been destroyed (probably by the magpie). That said I don't think it was a nest that was being used and I can find no evidence of occupation in the bits on the ground either. The goldfinches all just appeared en masse and had a nosey at it whilst the magpie was sat there and then flew off and they certainly haven't been going in there like they did a few years ago. They did a decoy nest last year elsewhere in the garden as well...clever birdies
Yesterday I went to bed and stayed in bed so Mr Rage made himself dinner - I think he had sandwiches- so this afternoon I will prepare last night's dinner in advance for tonight.... I hope you understood that.
Apart from that not really much to report.... I have some letters to catch up on but I guess with the stamp rise that's not really OS anymore - yes, I did stock up hence the fiscal lock down this month :rotfl: As I'm not putting the oven on today I will do my baking later in the week and I might put the washer on although as I did it all last week there's not much there and I plan to mend the wool blanket as it's coming apart at some of the seams....
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine if they have got it!But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -
Morning everyone, hope the bad times get better and the good times stay the same for everyone:)
Feeling a bit virtuous today as I had to get petrol from Sainsbobs yesterday and nearly, nearly fell victim to temptation. However I remained strong (LOL) and returned an empty basket. I ended up making myself a chicken curry with stuff I already had.Emergency savings: 4600

Afetrnoon all!
Hugs to Adelight and everyone who needs/wants one.
A ton of washing is blowing on the whirly, have done half of mount ironmore, including some of the holiday clothes, so better than nothing!
I think DS is at college, not in the house anyway! Been to see great aunt, she's been very confused this week apparently and one of the staff at the home told mum if things stayed this way she would need to be reassessed for suitability there as its residential, cue a panic by mum, can't see her any worse than she's been for the past 6 months, and have expressed my displeasure at a grumpy wee care assistant upsetting mum, will see how she is at the weekend as I am back to work tomorrow. Hope everyone's got a wee bit of sunshine, its glorious here!RIP Iain

Afternoon All
An absolutely glorious day here too, really warm and the cold wind has gone for a while. All washing dried on the line and only a couple of things to iron.
Been at work and have to go for an induction meeting at 2nd job tonight (odd as I worked there last year too!). That's from 5 till 8 and all I really want to do is go for a wee sleep!
DD currently in the kitchen baking something and will fend for herself for tea, I have eaten quite a lot of rubbish today so will get something later when I come home.
Hugs to those in need. Take care. XX0 -
Afternoon all
I'm tired with a capital K, I finished wotk a 3:30, went to the butchers for bacon, chemist for shoe innersoles for hubby, he has blisters on his blisters on his feet, both pairs of his work shoes got soaked through while he was working outside in the rain, there are problems with the new building he's taken over so he's starting early & finishing late.
I have a treat for him on Friday night, I've bought myself a PVC corset dress, hopefully it will bring a smile to his face, though the sight would probably make anyone else cry!
Have a good evening everyone.
Hugs Hester
