I love Turkey I go every year.

Things you may want to take money for:

    Excursions from the hotel

    Boat trips

    Watersports

Fake replica football strips and designer gear - yes they are fake but many are surprisingly good quality

    Souveniers

    Non local drinks

ice cream from the on street ice cream sellers (they do a little routine with the kids)

    freshly squeezed juice

a meal out in a traditional restaurant

thanks, yeah kids are excited as they havent been away for 7 years, youngest who is 6 has never been on a airplane so really excited. So they want to buy gifts etc for there school friends etc so if i take £200.00 with us to change up out there, we can get some bits etc.

The delphin palace is amazing. I am very jealous. :D

    Enjoy it.

There is a cash machine directy across the road, that IIRC dispenses euros or lira.

There are plenty of shops selling fakes, if you desire, & lots of pharmacies.

The food is fab, pack up some to take to the airport. Ignore the chip queue for those who know no better. The food is wonderful.

The doctor is great too, should you need him...we went in private ambulance to hospital for stitches ( child related stupidity ) & despite the urgency it was calm & organised all the way, & the receipt was faxed straight to our insurance co :)

Just watch out for the Russians. They are clueless when it comes to the 4 lifts. Up, down, who knows, I'll get on.. If you can, take the stairs, it saves on having to interact with them.

Trousers for men for dinner, not shorts. Otherwise very relaxed dress code.

If you want an al a carte restaurant, call early in the morning to book, Chinese & Turkish are good. The Turkish is not with the others, but above the lunch venue by the beach.

Free Wifi in the main reception area, & in the balcony areas above all the reception, outside the bedrooms.

Kids club is is good but they will take them on the water slides immediately behind, do check that they put swim jackets on the non swimmers!

I am so jealous. I've been twice before the littlest one needed paying for & now it's too much...

thanks for replying we actually wanted to go to the delphin diva but missed out on booking it. yes we are looking forward to it, thats a understatement lol. probably be the first and last for the next couple of years but really wanted to get the youngest a holiday. thanks for the info on dress code etc, someone did mention that i would have to wear trousers I have the some smart sort of jogging bottoms etc.

wifi is a bonus as i will take my mobile and coneect to it and send some pics home to family etc.

not sure if my girls will go with the kids club although irelaly looking forward to spending some time with them in the pool on the beach without worrying about anything at home.

have also heard about the russians aswell and i think i read on trip advisor alot of people were commenting on them lol

Make sure you switch roaming off or you could end up with a huge bill!
