Virgin media tell lies. £7.99 blackberry email

Today at 9.47 I got an email from virgin media saying that as a valued customer i could get a blackberry 9300 with 1100 minutes, 500 texts and 500mb Internet for £7.99.
Delighted I rang, to be told the offer is no longer available
How can this be?
Do they have to honour this offer?
Did anyone else get it?

They dont have to honour any offer they send out. Neither do any shops either..
