So what exactly do you want help with?
Assuming you're trying to get out of paying £45, assuming you're about to tell us you've not submerged the phone in liquid, or used it in the rain, or kept it in the shower room with you, or had it in your pocket at the gym...etc etc.
Just pay. Why are so many people trying to get out of paying for something when they've broken it? It is this behaviour that devalues insurance, warranties and customer service so often.
Assuming none of the above is correct, then the only people who could have got the phone wet are the engineers. Good luck proving that one.0 -
I think £45 is actually quite reasonable, pay up its not really worth the hassle not to0

I would have taken the photos of the liquid damage indicators inside the phone before sending it anywhere and refused to pay if the indicators were white. However, it's to late to do this now.0

Without a second phone or camera lying round this would be quite hard (ergo, trying to take a picture of the device you're taking a picture of...) but I do get your point here.
I also literally one hour ago spilled apple juice around my SGS2 which has now decided to make the "USB Connect" noise every now and again, sans USB connection. I checked for water indicators and couldn't find any. I imagine they're on the inside to stop prying eyes and wannabe technicians.0 -
^most are wannabe technicians you send it off to repair for ! No matter how professional a company looks remember one thing - the manufacturer pays them & thus a conflict of interest arises
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

Ive had exactly same problem, these mobile manufactures shouldnt be able to use this excuse time andtime again. if dampness is getting in then it wasnt built properly.
