I always use compatable inks for my Epson Stylus printer.

    Have a look on eBay.

I have used lots of different sellers. Only once in the last 5 years have I had a 'bad' cartridge and was sent a replacement in the next post.

    Just check the buyers feedback.

I never buy large quantities, just in case the printer decides to give up the ghost and you are left with lots of cartridges.
However, since my printer uses 4 separate colours I always go for the bundle that contains at least a couple of extra black inks.

Places like Cartridge World do refills of expended cartridges. Maybe see if there's a store (or equivalent) near you?

Just looked on eBay for your printer cartridges.
not familiar with that model but noticed that some sellers supply the inks without the chip.
They then proceed to say you have to remove the chip from the old cartridge and fit it to the new one and even supply instructions!

How strange. I'd probably stick with the chipped inks, more expensive but at least not DIY with a pair of pliers!

Don't forget to really read the buyers feeback, even though the seller may have a high feedback score, he can also have lots of negs and neutrals.

At the bottom of the eBay pages, you will also find more sponsored companies selling the inks you need but out of eBay

    Another option

These have genuine standard and high yield

Compatible standard and high yield and value packs

As it is post included, if you only need one ink, then you could get that to see how it runs

    http://www.refreshcartridges.co.uk/-c-24_757_4735.html

You could ask them if your cartridges are suitable for their refill by post option

options 2 or 3, buy a CISS for your printer. as seem here
    http://www.cityinkexpress.co.uk/ciss/hp/b109n/photosmart-series/dye-ink
personally dont like CISS as i fear the containers of ink falling over and loads of ink going everywhere. however these are suppose to be cheaper in the long run as you only have to fill the containers when they are low.

options. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Ink-Cartridges-Replace-HP364XL-HP-Printers-/310325925946?pt=UK_BOI_Office_Office_Supplies_Stationery_ET&var=&hash=item8e089a0e76 replacement XL cartridges CHIPPED. complete set of 4 £18.50.

personally. I would go for this option. buy another printer that an all-in-one but would look at the price of the cartridges first.

If you want my opinion it may be a better idea to buy a new printer. I needed a new one recently and bought a Epson Stylus sx130 (cost £25) solely for the reason I could buy compatibles from ebay from around £5 a set.

There are a few others to consider of course but I would stay clear of certain brands because of the lack of compatible cartridges.

If you dont want to change printer then the cartridge world refill approach would be a cheap way as well.

if i was in need of a new printer i would opt for this one.
http://www.epson.co.uk/Printers-and-All-In-Ones/Inkjet/Epson-Stylus-SX515W £59.99 on epsons website where i wouldnt buy it from.
and then the cost of cartridges.

from here. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12-INKs-EPSON-STYLUS-SX415-SX510-SX515-SX515W-S20-/220629368714?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_Printing_PrinterInkCatridges_JN&hash=item335e88ff8a at a cost of £5.95 for 3 sets.

or any one of these 3 printers
    http://www.comet.co.uk/c/Printing/Multi-Function-Printers/1970#!No=0&N=1970+4294966902&side=/Brand/EPSON
    and 10 compatibles = 2sets + 2 extra blacks £6.89
the compatibles work with all 3 of the comet epson printers.

My advise is use manufacturers ink. I used to save money when working from home by buying replica ink and using the other sides of A4 paper that was no longer required. The end result was endless printer issues!

I got a new printer and now only use genuine ink and new A4 paper.

In my opinion the savings are not real and you are likely to get endless hassle.

so raiderhammer the fact that genuine ink from say epson and another supplier using the same basic ink due to the fact epson dont actually make their ink, they use another company to make it, and the same company making epson ink also produce a slightly different ink for compatibles, basically a contract stating the company can not use the same ink they make for epson in other ink cartridges, so to get around that they ink manufacturer has slightly changed the ink but its pretty much produced at the same time but in a different vat will therefore cause problems if used in a epson? dont see it.

epson ink for my sx200 around £25 for a set of ink 4 was 3 years ago.

    compatibles sx200, £10 when i bought them 3sets of 4+2extra blacks 14 carts. saving £15 ebay. ink-power.

but wait thats wrong, i'm going for 4 not 14 so i would still need to add on top another £50 for the another 8 genuines I would have had to buy, but then that would still be wrong due to the amount of ink in the cartridges, which is approx 1/3 of the compatibles in each genuine cartridge. 6ml, according to epsons site. and compatibles contain 18ml, times so thats 3 times yet again,
so £75 for genuine ink compared with £3-4 for 1 compatible set.
if epson use 6ml per cart, and compatible use 18ml per cart.
£25 for a set of genuine, x 3 for the same amount of ink, x3 for the same amount of cartridges minus the 2extra black, and you call it no real savings. please tell me i got those figures wrong,
small note the price of the compatibles has now been reduced to around 50p-60p per cartridge compared with the wow http://www.prink.co.uk/genuine-epson-t0715-multipack-ink-cartridges.php?cat=517 £34.56 for a set of 4, they have gone up in price, thought i do a price compare via google cause that seemed high, and nope found higher prices than that, considering the printer was only £45 and i still have the receipt for it.

still using the compatibles 3years down and still have 1 set left. due to the fact compatibles have 18ml in each compared with the 6ml in the originals if not less and after 3years and using these cartridges no problems with the printer.

After all its a known fact they most printer manufacturers supply half empty cartridges with their new printers so they run out quickly so customers have to go out and buy replacements.
my originals lasted 6weeks after buying the printer.

Your printer/scanner uses the same cartridges as my Photosmart 309.

    Your model is the

    HP Photosmart Wireless All-in-One Printer - B109n- Q8444A

The cartridge number is 364 and, unbelievably, the best price I have recently has been with HP themselves with the combo pack of black and 3 colours for around £13 inc postage.

They have recently being heavily discounting some printers and have been running discounted ink at the same time but it's a case of buying when the offer is on, sometimes for only a few days or until they are out of stock.

I've just checked and the best price quoted via the HP site is £19.33 at EBuyer. This is for a pack of 4 cartridges.

I often check the HotUKDeals website for any offers as this is where I see about HP promotions first.

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/

To access the HP site (if using Windows 7) click on Start/All Programs and scroll down to HP. Click on HP and select 'Shop For HP Supplies'

You may also find that a link has been placed on your desktop when installing the printer.

    Hope this helps.
