Any ideas on who you think Top Gears "The Stig" might be?
I thought, maybe Damon Hill as he lives in godalming where top gear is filmed ( well its filmed at dunsfold aerodrome)

Ok i'll come clean.....
It's me!0 -
Ok well I have to admit it. Saving money isn't my only job on TV... although I must admit there's a great conflict between my too roles. Do you know what driving like that does to the wear and tear on a car, and petrol usage, totally diminishes its life span.

I can't remember his name but it's a youngish bloke (early 20's) who is a test driver for a WRC (rally car) team!
So I'm told by a very good source!0 -
Its me!
Sorry ... just dreaming again!
Anyway, take a look at this for an in depth look at the Stig ...

I thought it was Damon Hill too!
Can't be Martin - I saw him on TV for the first time tonight (video'd as I can't get TONIGHT in Spain) and I don't think he could sit still long enough to be the Stig!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

It's generally believed to be Ben Collins ...
I wouldn't believe anything you read on the internet though about him being outed ...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Collins_(driver)
Ben is used as a driver in loads of features ... the Aygo football/ice hockey ... and the Bowler WildCat are the only ones that I can think of off the top of my head ... but ... *shrug* ...
To be honest ... I don't want to know ... I couldn't care less ... the legend is more impressive than if it was someone famous ... "some say he appears on high value stamps in Sweden" ... quality0 -
I also wouldn't waste your time signing up to applausestore for TG tickets ...
I've been on that list almost 3 years ... no joy as yet ... and don't ever expect to get anything through ...
Apparently the best way to get tickets is to send them a story/e-mail/show idea and then beg ...
Or ... get a job working for a supercar manufacturer ... and undertake a high risk operation to get Mr Clarkson's application for his new motor pushed up the waiting list ...
(anybody who gets that reference is just as geeky as me)0 -
my sister works in a filling station locally to the aerodrome, she's served Clarkson before and like NOT ASKED HIM FOR TICKETS DUUHHHHHH :doh:Bring back mark and lard NOW! or else (please) clique member no. 10 :j
