Best deal for GPS

Im looking to treat my DH to GPS for his birthday - can anyone recommend one or advise on the best buys - don't want to spend more than £300.

I found https://www.expansys.com to be a good place for such equipment. If you need extra info - what sort of handheld (or mobile) is it for?

I need the whole kit and caboodle - ie not for putting onto a mobile or PDA - and so will check out the site given - thanx for your help.

Expansys does offer a few standalone models, but it might prove to be difficult to find the complete standalone kit for less than £300. In fact, I only found one device in that price range http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=118233 , but have no idea how good it is. All others seem to have an average price of £450-600.
