Poor Vodafone signal and 3G - Where Do I Stand?

Hi all,
I started a Vodafone contract in October 2011 as my T-mobile contract expired, and Vodafone where offering the best deal for the iphone. I have since had my iphone stolen and have now purchased a new iPhone 4s.
Since October, I have not been impressed with Vodafone. Quite often I will have low signal indoors (previously on T-mobile it was fine), and poor 3G coverage. If I have 3G coverage then I have low signal. If I have high signal, then I have no 3G coverage.
I often have to turn on flight mode and turn it off again to receive a 3G signal.
I am currently at my desk right by my window of my house. I have 3 bars signal and no 3G. Vodafone's website states I have indoor coverage and high speed internet on my postcode.
I really want to go back to T-mobile now! Where do I stand in cancellation of my contract? I do not have the iphone which I had to pay for on the contract and I have another 18 months of contract. This obviously is not fit for purpose so is this a starting point?
Thanks

Well, you stand nowhere.
You should have chosen the network that provides a good signal in your area in the first place, not the best deal on the phone you want.
No networks guarantee good coverage everywhere, especially indoors and even more especially for 3g.
If you have not been impressed from the very first days you should have cancelled the contract within the cooling off period.
As a side note, why do you need 3g at home where you can use WiFi for data connection?0 -

I reviewed all the networks for coverage and vodafone showed exactly the same as T-mobile. It just irritates me when I am out and about that I have to turn off and on flight mode to get 3G. I felt that there was not an issue when I first started with Vodafone, maybe as I was excited with my new purchase, I do not know. But it is infuriating me now. I just used home as an example.0 -
I think you can disable 2g manually, but this may result in more poor coverage.SamTheMan13 wrote: »...It just irritates me when I am out and about that I have to turn off and on flight mode to get 3G..0 -
Just ask Vodafone to send you a Suresignal box...free if you're lucky or £20-£50 if they ask you to cough up. Either way you're guaranteed to get an excellent 3G signal in your home. Device plugs into your router and creates a mini mast in your home. Ive got one in my home and very happy with it

I had a great signal to the 19/2/12 since then awful, we have a signal box and you have to be within 20ft. Takes away the idea of a mobile phone.
We are stupid enough to pay £72 a month for two phones and forced to buy payg bricks for another network. See my post.0
