That's great, as long as you pay it off you will not be charged.0 -
You will however be paying the Post Office's less than exciting exchange rate for those euros - and surely there will be interest to pay even if no fee?0

1.19 is not a very good rate.
Today a £1,000 would buy me 1,222 euros. That's 3% better that the Post Office. Or 30 quid more in other words. Makes a difference if you buy a lot.

I have this credit card and I would NOT recommend it to anyone. As noted above the rate is not very good - but also they are living in the dark ages - their 'internet banking' is shockingly bad - so is their phone banking. Want to pay some money off your account ? You have to go into a branch ( and take in the paper-based bill they send out).
I set up a direct debit when I opened my account. Then I switched current accounts which I do almost every year. Every single direct debit on that account got switched perfectly - except the Post Office. The first I knew was when they tried to take money from the old account. I got a returned DD fee from the old account and a late payment fee from the Post Office. I called them and they claimed complete ignorance - worse I couldn't pay the card off over the phone - they gave me the details to take into a branch to pay it off there. Cancellation is imminent ...0 -

I have had a PO CC for years. I pay for most of my hotels in the USA in dollars and get a great exchange rate with no loading. I pay it off exclusivley online, so not sure where you get the idea that you cant.
Having said that if I was wanting euros I would use my halifax clarity CC in an ATM wherever I was going
Just realised this an old thread resurected by, I guess, a spammer0
