I would agree with the people who said Egyptian cotton. After many years of buying normal bedding and having to replace it regularly we had some money and treated ourselves to some Egyptian cotton must be four years ago and it is still as good as when we originally bought it.

As for the bed again get the best you can afford and remember if you have a budget get the best mattress you can afford

no but if it is a high thread count it will shout about it. Some places like Matalan will shout about their 200 thread count bedding so if its 300/400+ it will say so.

    Hi
If you are looking for the comfort then I think you should choose egyptian cotton duvets, pillows and fitted bed sheets. They add a high level of comfort to bedroom and as well as look elegant in bedroom.
If you want to buy them online then find it on Google or ask to your friends who have a bit experience in this.
  • I know its very late to reply but I can't stop myself as I am having good knowledge in bed linens or in soft furnishing accessories.
You can find the right bed linens in amazon, ebay, ikea and homescapesonline. They all have huge range of bed linen accessories at very cheap cost. I also bought from them mostly from amazon webstore as their are huge range of materials.
    Thanks!!!

  • I go with a high thread count. I buy mine from QVC, Northern Nights range.
