Originally i was thinking about investing in a few good products and doing my own makeup and getting someone to do my hair, but i was fortunate enough to win my hair and makeup for my wedding so i'll be having someone do it all for me now :)

I will have my hair cut and coloured at a hairdresser about a week before but just wash and dry it myself on the day. I need to find a hairdresser though as I've only lived in the area a year and only had my hair cut twice in that time!

I don't wear a lot of makeup - just a small amount of lipgloss and eyeshadow occasionally so will do something similar.

I have a hairdresser coming in the morning to do mine and my sisters hair.

Doing my own make up, but going to treat myself to some Clinique make up (not very MSE I know!)

I have got some Clinique make up for the day. I love the stuff now! :) I just need to get used to putting a little more on than I usually do...

Luckily, the day I was worrying about ridiculously expensive people are for doing wedding hair and make up, an old school friend advertised on facebook that she is able to do wedding and prom hair and make up! I sent her a message and she is charging me £50 including however many trials I want (already had one). I can't really grumble at that. I think those that charge £100 for THE DAY are absolutely having a laugh, and I can't believe people go to them. Maybe it is worth asking a friend who enjoys playing with hair, or ask your hairdresser to have a fiddle about with it to give ideas or something then a friend could copy!

I am having my hair curled and then pinned up, with my fringe clipped back behind my ear (currently growing it - driving me mad!!) with a bit of backcombing on top to give me a little bit of height. As for make up, I normally just put about ttwo layers of mascara on, so I'm having very VERY natural make up, just to cover up any blemishes and take away the shine that you sometimes get on photos. My fiance won't be marrying me if I turn up caked with it on, how people wear it like that I do not know!

My sister in law said that when she got married she wishes she'd done her own make up as she didn't feel it was exactly right, so worth bearing that in mind.

I'm doing my own make up and hair. I'll be buying some nice new makeup and having a little makeover lesson at a local clinique counter (for free) so I will know how to do it. I'm having my hair blow dried at the hairdressers the day before the wedding and then just curling it with straighteners in the morning. We do have a 9:45am ceremony though so not much time for anything else!!
