Welcome to the site littlemoon I love having like minded people to chat to as well as you say so many people won't talk about it yet Its only 8 weeks !!! :T. They will be the ones moaning about the cost and things being out of stock whilst running around like headless chickens ! We will be the smug ones curled up inside watching christmas TV and spending time with the family and friends
I was worried about buying DVDs they already have to when doing my brothers and sil but maybe you could also get a cinema voucher which still ties in with the theme0 -

I love lists. Even though I have a christmas list app, I still love the feeling of actually writing it, and seeing it down on paper. (Am I showing my age now ).
Very trueI also have the app but like you love seeing it all written down and eventually crossed or ticked off :T. My children do not try and have a sneaky look at my lists but my OH does !! So his list is on the app only. His face was a picture when he tried to have a look on the app the other night and saw it was password protected

vintage queen sorry you have to wait for your pay. I agree I don't think people who are well off think that you might be desperate for the money. at least you have more time to plan!
own my own your choc slabs are great. I have made them before but not as detailed so may have another go. It was quite a while ago and I can't remember how they turned out. Do you find that they are OK once taken out of the fridge? I have also made choc hearts and Christmas shapes but found they melted when they were taken out of the fridge so haven't made any for presents:(saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -

own my own for these chocolate slabs do you think a silicone mould would work best for popping it out? Saw some in the pound shop so might grab one and give it ago!

I just store mine as I would any chocolate. In a dry cool place. They should be fine out of the fridge.0 -

I always use silicone moulds. I got both of my slab moulds in the 99p store. Look out for silicone ice cube trays, for making small chocolates. They seem to be cheaper than chocolate moulds, even though they are the same thing.:D0 -

I would assume they use the same toiletries.springdreams wrote: »Or a movie hamper with a cinema voucher or Lovefilm voucher?
Im thinking of a mixture of the 2 ideas, Im going for the cinema voucher as I have no idea of the kinds of films they like. Also I think Luke will enjoy making them a choc slab each. I think they would appreciate home made stuff.Good enough club member number 140 -
For those doing movie hampers, I have a LoveFilm subscription and each Christmas they send me free vouchers for a 3mth subscription to give to friends and family, if you're a subscriber too this may be something to look out for? If you're not, maybe you could purchase a gift subscription? Though I'm not sure how much they are to actually buy.0
