I love being organised so i can get into the xmas spirit early and really enjoy December.
What a lovely idea!0 -
Where have /are you guys buying your wrapping this year?
I am a bit of a snob when it comes to wrapping paper I hate cheap stuff that either rips when you're wrapping on when you are stacking presents.
I would usually buy my paper in WHsmiths or Boots and only have red and gold but its all different for me this year. My LO with be 11 months old so I wont be putting presents under the tree and I can buy some fun Childrens wrapping paper. Can anyone recommend any?
Thanks
PS I couldn't resist buying her Christmas Pyjamas yesterday in Mothercare x0 -
oh dear.
Meadowhall primark upstairs...
Spent £55 on xmas dog outfits (large really isn't large(!)), antlers with flashing noses, tea towels, fleeces, flannels, etc.
Our primark (Grimsby) still has nothingBut I finally saw the sheep onesies too
they were so fluffy!
The Disney store and Lush shop were amazingAnd the Yours shop had been open just 10 weeks - spent too much in there
Was fun getting it all back on the train, thank god for plumping for first class return in advance. It was a tenner dearer but I figured (and it was worse than I thought!) that the train would be packed on the way back at quarter past 4. It was only standing room only - the amount of bags we had we'd have really struggled to actually get on, never mind anything else. First class was practically empty and we got a drink to warm up tooPrincess Sparklepants0 -
sounds fabulous Gleek! I was planning a day trip on the train to London or Birmingham, to do a Primark, Hotel Chocolat, Disney Store sweep, but trying to contain myself as I think Im pretty much done and don't NEED anything more ..would just like it ..
Kelly7 Im sorry to hear about your mum, I hope shes feeling better now x
JakeBakesCakes welcome! that sounds like a really lovely day! Im afraid my DH always gives me the 'you are SOOOO much better at it than me ..' for years I've offered 'You would be so much better if you had some practice' ...never works!
makes me laugh about the anti-buying-anything-before-Christmas-weeks-its-all-consumerism blah blah about Christmas, those are the very people who ignore it until Christmas Eve and then dash round paying full price for something people probably won't like but it's the only thing on the shelf ... put no thought in to anything but still roll their eyes at us when we buy Christmas pudding in October! Im guilty, I bought mine
the thing is I do understand a lot of people might be, for example, too snowed under with works or whatever and arent in a position to think about it early, or simply choose not to, no problem, but why always moan as us when we enjoy it and out so much love and thought into presents by doing it early? I'd like to commission an article about why leaving it all until 20th December isnt any better!!0 -

This has made me laugh. When we visited Grimsby, we OBVIOUSLY went to Primark.
My dd walked all the way round the the edge. My friend, who we were visiting , asked here what she was doing.
In a serious voice dd replied' I am looking for the lift or door that leads to the rest of it !':rotfl:0 -

I quite like Wilkinsons stuff, nice and cheap. They have some nice stuff in too, I like the red polka dot stuff. I might buy some soon actually before it's a last minute dash. I also like using brown paper and ribbon for mine, but the ribbon can be pricey sometimes. Wilkos all the way though! Love their Christmas decs too.November Grocery Challenge = £83.47/£1500 -

still 99p with free p+p but doubt it weill stay that for long, link is in 2nd post.
Ive seen these in the @pple store and they are £30, this obviously isnt an @pple product but it looks the same, and it acts as a stand too, well worth 99p delivered for an additional pressie but RRP is £15 so a main pressie for somebody I'd think! other colours are 4.99 but love the red0 -
re wrapping paper, I got mine in M&S and Sains sales last year less than half price along with tags and ribbon, but I couldnt resist the M&S santa/sleigh/kraft papaer one as its just lovely, hopefully will have some left so can stock up in their sale - last year the week before Christmas they did a 50% off wrap/tags etc at M&S online, with free store delivery for January0

Yay! DH has got a 12 month contract now so Christmas can be celebrated again! I have to concentrate on our halloween party first but when DH goes up to the loft later I'll get him to check what christmas wrapping paper we have - I suspect it's a lot.0
