Own My Own I popped into the shops with an elderly friend of mine this morning - my good deed for the day accompanied her to the dentist, bank, Bon Marche, sainsburys then cemetery (good deed for the week) They had "survival kits" in aid of MacMillan with a candle, penny, marble etc in so cute and such a truly deserving charity:) but I didn't notice the key rings, googled but no joy there either!
Chickywiggle so glad you picked up the fire trucks my granddaughters would love them toox

Tesco have various biscuits etc on offer on the online grocery shop so just got a 500g tin (I think) for £2.50.
iv not quite caught up yet as bk 2 work but this reminded me of the christmas morning we came down and the freezer had broken  had to cook everything up! ahhhh the memories lol0 -
Own My Own they are so lovely, I will be keeping my eyes open for those too. Think last year I bought stars for the tree, silver metal stars decorations with a space to write your own sentiments ( in memory of, to remember etc) not sure if they were for MacMillan or another of my fave charities:) They were gratefully received and donating at the same time win-win. Hope you are feeling better today. X
Kellyhghs there are some lovely mirrored jewellery boxes in Argos, have you already seen those? The secret of Christmas

It may have been £4.99 then, my mom said it was £3.99 as she got it for a pressie for my niece & nephew! Will double check though.
They were right on top of the shelves, out of sight really but could be good for the Xmas eve hampers :-)

I've been on the grabbit board looking for xmas presents. Thought there was no point looking at the Amazon thread initially as there was no 'WOW' score at the end. However when I did (was getting desperate) I realised it's because there is no 'WOW' button on this thread, same goes for the Superdrug one and I assume all the others. A lot of you are probably aware of this but i thought I'd point it out for people like me, lol. Just got a present for my niece on the Amazon one for exampl, (Fashion Angel Light box, 65% off)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003HS5JZS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&smid=A29QTG9GUUI8UH
that was on the Amazon thread with no 'WOW' factor and I thought it was a really good deal.
By the way......80 days and 15 hours until Xmas day!!!0 -
I'm sure I've seen mirrored Jewellery boxes in Matalan and Dunelm in the past. If I go in this weekend ill take a look. Debenhams might have one and are almost certain to have another spectacular before Xmas. BHS have a couple in and there is 25% off online at the moment.0
