Snugglebunny - It is a nice feeling really just wish they were being a bit less rough! Its nice that Pip can feel his brother or sister too :-)

Hmmmmmm yes mines taken for the full amount too but definately it said it was only charging me the 67p when I checked out. Strange, will have to keep an eye on it.

Edit - Just checked my email and the invoice from paypal is definately only for the 67p????? Confused, much! Too late and too much baby brain to cope with such confusion.

It looks like paypal has taken the full amount out but my balance of £0.24 is correct if just the extra amount was taken if that makes sense

  • Hello there fellow christmas crazy people!

I've been following/stalking this thread much like an addiction so thought I should pop in and say hello - and thanks!

I've just used that ebay code for 2 torches to add to a couple of hampers I'm doing for kiddies this year. Its my first year doing hampers and everyone is getting a bundle. Thankfully ebay has come through very well.

2 weeks ago everyone thought I was mad for starting my xmas bits, and now they are all doing it!

I keep seeing that monopoly, but I don't think my OH will really understand why I would need it. I'll have to keep it in mind for when we have kids though! I did have to calm myself when in my local shopping center recently..... The yearly christmas shop was being created with all sorts of christmas goodness. I hanted to do a little dance, but I was alone and I didn't want to look like a completely crazy lady!!

Welcome :) I only joined the day before yesterday myself after lurking for a few months :snow_laug. However be warned this site is highly addicted !! So many friendly and helpful people though and of corse we are all like minded about loving christmas.

  • How are all the pregnant ladies feeling? its wonderful we have so many pre Christmas babies due, am so excited to hear about them all ... and so broody! :)

Exhausted!!! Rehearsing for 2 Christmas shows at the minute (producing and choreographing one of them) so means out 4 nights a week, house-hunting, working 6 days out of 7, trying to arrange a perfect birthday for my DD along with Christmas preparations. It's safe to say I wouldn't have committed to so many things had I known I was pregnant when I agreed to them lol. On the upside we find out what we're having in 3 weeks and 3 days - just starting to feel the occassional wriggle from the little jellybean now :D

I normally fill 2 kilner jars with sweets for my 2. Works out quite cheap as I take the jars back every new year.

For those not as lucky, I just found these.

  • Hello everyone, loving reading what you're all up to!
Seems now is the time that it's acceptable to talk about Christmas presents ...OH thought I was strange in June! :rotfl:

Been out picking sloes, so far made some sloe gin and sloe vodka - never made it before but it's so satisfying giving it a good shake in the morning, vents the frustration! Gorgeous deep purple colour, hopefully will look nice in some small kilner bottles to give as presents.

Despite making mental lists of pressies since June, I've only managed to buy three! Mostly due to money though and OH's birthday next week, really not sure where the money is going to come from yet

One preparation I have done though is making decorations, although I had made what I thought was a good stock until several people asked to buy them!! Can't complain though I suppose, never thought anyone would want to buy my old handmade tat!

Hope you are all enjoying the christmassy feeling creeping in! xxx
