  • This is my Pinterest and it has an idea which i think you could use for your jars - put each ingredient in a cello bag inside the jar and then they should last for a month really (if not longer in my personal opinion).

  • Dawn French was so funny! I now love buble because of this show and brought his christmas album, it's fab, I played it last year when I had my best friend over with her kids as we bake gingerbread houses with the kids and get them to decorate them..its such a giggle, and we all get covered in sprinkles and icing! We do this instead of buying presents for each other

wasnt she hilarious?? I was crying laughing! also bought the Christmas cd and had it on in my car all through December :T

I just saw people on here talking about reindeer cupcakes..so I've just posted the above photo from a cupcakey facebook page (name of it is on the photo in case you want a peek at their page - they sell the bits and bobs you need too!)...I think they look fab! So thought I'd post it as they have so many great ideas on there :)

The reindeer cupcake looks yummy. I had a look on the website printed on the pic, but there was no recipe, neither could I find the picture you posted....I must be doing something wrong. I've not tried my hand at baking or cake making, but these look to yummy to resist :p

Always after a bargin-You must be very excited about your hubby coming home next week! :)

PipsMum-2 weeks, how exciting!! Hope you manage to get everything done. :)

All of the cakes/biscuits look great, will definitely have to make some of those! Im planning on making mini christmas pudding style cupcakes this year again, choc cupcakes with a splodge of white icing/choc on top and holly made from icing. You could also do a big version with a big choc cake. I think Im going to make/decorate a chocolate log this year, I remember doing it at school once and it was sooo christmassy!
I emailed Halfcost the other day asking when the christmas section would be up and they emailed back saying it should be mid-october! :j They must have thought I was christmas crackers (which I am of course. :D) as my email address even has christmas in it. :rotfl:Ive got so many lovely christmassy things from them before. www.halfcost.co.uk
Is anyone else looking forward to The Rise of the Guardians coming out on November 21st? I saw the trailer months ago at the cinema and it looks AMAZING! You can watch the trailer here: http://www.riseoftheguardians.com/ Will be making two christmassy cinema trips to see this and Nativity 2. :D
Both my preordered Rory figures (from Dr Who) came today, early as not supposed to be available until 5th October. DS doesnt even know they've brought one out so he will be so excited. Not sure whether to put in his stocking so Father Christmas' elves made them ;) or get the credit myself hehe. :D Also bought a skipping rope (20p) and cuddly toy (50p) from Sainsburys today for shoeboxes. Slowly getting there lol. :)

I think they've changed the way pages' photos are displayed?! It took me a moment to find it, but I clicked on 'photos' and then clicked on 'albums' and scrolled down until I found the christmas album...there's snowmen, baubles etc and they're all gorgeous! You can make the cake any cake you want and then just use the sugarpaste to create the topping in the style you like using cutters and edible glitter/shimmers...there seems to be tips if you click on the photos and see the comments, people have asked how things are done etc which is helpful! ..they're all beautiful! :) think I'll have to make an order with them nearer to christmas and make some glittery yummy things! :D
