I wasn't talking about Paypals terms and conditions, I was talking about in court. If the OP had proof that the buyer received the phone, then legally Paypal were wrong to reverse the payment. And therefore any legal action to recover money from the OP would be quashed.

OK, so you are going to court with a bit of paper that you say is signed by the owner of the ebay account 'pink fluffy bunny'.

The owner of that account turns up and says never seen you before in my life mate (maybe he sent his brother to collect) , what then?

Or I am a dodgy seller, my mate signs a bit of paper which I try to use in court saying showed the buyer collected.

This is where clever lawyers come in. I won't go into detail, as it could give people ideas. But a signature is admissible in court. Which is why they have been used for many years as proof of delivery.

I do understand what you are saying though, but it's the best chance the OP has.
