I know this is not toiletry related but do any of you ladies have a recommendation for sandals. I struggle every year with summer shoes. I need something comfortable for walking, with a strong sole, no toe posts. I don't need trecking sandals just for walking the dog, school run etc and I can never find anything stylish that will last. Any ideas gratefully received.
I have terrible trouble with shoes due to odd size ,wide feet and toe op:(but love Rodhe shoes and buy sandals from there in the sales, they sell them on shoesinternational if there is no shop near you(quidco too)

I am actually determined to get some makeup uu, a hard task for me.

I'm trying to get some make up UUs as well :)

EvilSquid - I know that you're right. I don't like it though! :rotfl: It has been really good to try things via beauty boxes as it doesn't require a £££ leap of faith!

I'm nearly at the end of my bottle of Benetint :j (I have another one waiting in my stash that I bought on sale post Christmas 2010  I'm not buying one in advance this time...)

I have another UU a Primark tea tree facial wash . WBA as it was only 50p.

I know this is off topic but I have a pair of straight leg super stretchy trousers (not too low cut) that I wear in the summer. They fit just right, never get baggy at the knees, are always comfortable and make my bum look fab :D but I have had them many, many years and did originally buy them from a charity shop so no idea where they came from.
I am looking for a pair (or two) of new ones made very similarly, not bothered about the colour, or to an extent the price as I love this pair and they make me feel good wearing them.
    Any ideas? :)
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

mine is prob going to end up going off before i use it. I'm terrible, because i use mineral foundation, it has to go on before that otherwise it goes all cakey and mixes with it and doesn't blend properly but because I'm so used to doing blusher afterwards, i go to use it then realise it'll look odd if i do. its just sat there now! by my reckoning i bought it when i went through my benefit phase and i think that was 2 years ago :rotfl:

i had some ones from house of fraser, Label i think i was. they looked like jeans but were super skinny stretchy fabric. they were pricey though, i think they were pushing £50. they were incredible though. i wish i still fit in them!

I find Gap are good for stretchy trousers but as a shop it's really unpredictable. No two pairs of size 12s in the same style are, in fact, the same in my experience. Sometimes you go in and they will have a particular style hanging on the rail, half of which are made of nice stretchy cotton lycra and the other half of which are made of icky polyester! They also often have no popular sizes at all, just 6 and 20. But worth the search despite these irritating thngs because all of my HG trousers were from Gap.

Back to the subject of toiletries, I have UU a bottle of Rusk polishing hair serum. Came from my nemesis, TK Maxx, in a pack with some other styling stuff. My hair always straightens better with a drop of serum. This was OK but WNBA. The top broke very quickly and it kept spilling.

Got some splutterers, so looking forward to a rash of UUs next month. Forcing myself to use some stuff I don't like, e.g. Patsy Palmer's now discontinued tanning spray, inexplicably called "it........is". From TK Maxx, of course. Smells rancid but is OK at making the chest and back look tanned!

Also making great progress with using foot stuff, which I kept buying but wasn't getting around to using. I needed to, my feet have a difficult life being shoved into ridiculous shoes and have needed lots of TLC to make them sandal ready!
