Hope the exam went well Rosemary.
Glad to hear the good progress on your DD Kaz.
My sample freebie of Smashbox Primer was on the mat waiting for me today. Iam looking forward to trying this. I have a night out next Saturday and I willtry it out then. I think the dinner and dancing will put it through a rigoroustest.
Also my Imperial Leather shower gel is no a UU. WNBA as it smelled too chemically. It did lather up well but I did found the smell overpowering. Now onto my last Elle Mcpherson shower gel.
Hope everyone has a good night

I'm thanking my lucky stars that I work from home as I've been ill again today, but at least I know what made me ill. I've become increasingly sensitive to bread over the years, but can still manage some usually. I didn't eat any last week whilst on the £1 a day challenge, I ate it this week, I was ill, I ate some yesterday as an experiment and I was ill again. So no more bread for me, oh well.
UU to report and a forthcoming Non Bought In .
The UU is Original Source Almond and Black Cherry Shower Gel, Winter Limited Edition.
WIBA? Oooh yes, love nearly every single OS product and this was a really, really nice one. Hope they bring it back next winter. On to a Wilko Mint shower cream next, have had this a while and it's grown on me slowly, so I'm quite looking forward to it.
The approaching Non Bought In is from Amazon Vine.
I've been reviewing toiletries for ages on Amazon in the hope that Vine would offer me something halfway decent to review for free as they are supposed to target what they offer.
Anyway, I was offered something last night.
A 15 ml Bio2You Organic Eye Contur (sic) Seabuckthorn Cream. The five star review on Amazon was written by the seller I think, so we shall see how it does. Current price is £21.64, much more than I usually pay for an eye product (normally use Olay Gel). Normally Amazon Vine products arrive very quickly, fingers crossed.
I also have a new cordless phone coming that incorporates an iPhone charger (again from Vine) so that's all good. That one's got unsolicited five star reviews, so I'm really happy.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Hi All,
Firstly thank you all for the various advice on the NAKED palettes and also Clarins self tan - much appreciated! I'm much more considered in my purchases now than I used to be, another lesson learnt by the thread/challenge.
UU in the shower last night TBS Dewberry Shower Gel - was reminiscent of secondary school when that scent was in its heyday - quite nice WBA and have one more in any case - bit naughty to use this as wasn't from the original stash and only bought a month or so ago but no real shower gel left to speak of in the original stash - only a few soaps and one Sanex gel I've repurposed as handwash so not going to feel too guilty! In the process of using one of the original soaps but have also cracked open TBS Raspberry Ripple shower Gel also which smells divine! Also have another one waiting too which is nice, think I'd literally panic if I only had one shower gel and nothing in reserve! However, will hold off buying any at the moment whilst still a couple spare as birthday in a few weeks and likely to have toiletries ins then of some variety. :j
Been wiped out by a bit of a migraine today but luckily doesn't look like its planning to take hold for the full weekend, think its just the after effects of a non stop week at work. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

:wave:Hello ladies,
No, I haven't vanished off the face of the earth! I've just returned from a wonderful holiday to New Zealand and can only say, it is worth every single minute you spend flying. Such a beautiful country, such wonderful people.
I won't attempt to catch up with 5 weeks worth of news, so I hope that you are all well and happy and not buying too many toiletries ;-) I have some INS and UUs to declare:
INs:
New Zealand body lotion, 240ml, reduced from 60$ to 10, hope it's not gone off.
New Zealand passionfruit lipbalm
2xsoap
4 hotel minis (I was very selective and only took the NZ made ones!)
2 Molton Brown minis (never before have I stayed in a hotel posh enough to have these)
Bath salts, 4 sachets
And the UUs:
Mini Clinique lipgloss, free gift with Glamour, have already purchsed full size
Champneys Mediterranean shower gel 50ml & body lotion 50ml. Have a few more in the stash. Wouldn’t pay full price but they’re from the Boots sale.
Sanctuary body scrub 50ml. Not really scrubby enough, but have several more to use.
Boots once a day factor 30 suncream. WNBA, nice idea, but very thick and hard to rub in.
Balea deo. Nice mini size for travelling, have another 2 in stash.
Think that's all for now :wave:Do nothing in haste; look well to each step; and from the beginning think what may be the end - Edward Whymper0 -
Hello everyone - Sorry I've been M.I.A. - medical issues, but I'm getting better each day.
I have an IN:
Someone gave me a boots £5 off voucher, so I used it to get myself an eye makeup remover as I ran out of my Sephora one a few weeks ago.

Ins Emma Hardie Tsv, can't wait to use these but am going to finish some other bits first.
In Garnier 7 day challenge samples.
UU no7 grey eyeliner WBA already have one in the stash, this has lasted me a good couple of years with regular use.0 -
I so wanted the Emma Hardie TSV, but managed to resist, have bought a couple of sample sizes from *bay, but have yet to get my hands on the balm. The OPI does not call me, except for the Blue, so if I like the look of it on the TV (my pc is sooooo out on colour) I will hunt it down later, even if I ended up paying full price, I would still save a significant amount:money:
I've ordered the TSV already as it's available online. Here is a link. I wonder if OPI are creating colours exclusively for QVC to compete with Nails Inc but then they do produce them exclusively for Ulta in the US. As said before though a friend at work is buying the coral and darker pink which I thought was red. I only have one blue which is a cream formula - this one looks shimmery. I only have one sheer pink - OPI Passion which is a mini bottle and doesn't have much left in it and don't own a sheer like the Pirouette one at all. I didn't bother with the AD because I only like the sound of 2 of the colours in it which are from the new A/W Germany collection and I don't like gold or plum colours very much so I have still been :money: I think. Also, if it doesn't sell out (I personally think it will at that price) the normal QVC price isn't bad either so if I decide I like the August colours next time it won't be much of a hike in price to pay.

ANYWAY, my point... I can't find it now (the deodorant) so can I replace it guilt free? Or do I have to actually look in the bag and dig it out to UU?
Glad that your DD is healing well. That's really good news.
As it's only a deodorant and one you hate anyway I'd be tempted to say sack it and buy another! Was thinking how influential this thread is the other night. We were in Sainsbury's and Emma wanted a new roll on deodorant as she says everything has stopped working for her. Saw the Mitchum ones and commented to her that a lot of you ladies on here quote it has being a HG so we bought that. Haven't had any complaints from her so far so thanks ladies.kiplingmonkey wrote: »I got Naked for my birthday and I love it

Hi Fiasco, what skin type are you? If you have any oiliness in your skin go gently with this product as I found it made my skin oilier if I used too much.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Is it worth trying tortilla wraps? They're lighter than normal bread? I find I can pack loads into one as well so they are more filling for me.UU in the shower last night TBS Dewberry Shower Gel - was reminiscent of secondary school when that scent was in its heyday - quite nice WBA and have one more in any case - bit naughty to use this as wasn't from the original stash and only bought a month or so ago but no real shower gel left to speak of in the original stash -
What a blast from the past! I really didn't know they still sold this. My mum used to buy it me all the time.
Am so excited today. Going to pay the balance on my holiday. We bought some lovely dresses for Emma last night for our two formal evenings. I'm not getting mine until just before we go as I am losing weight for the hols. Have lost 5lbs already in 3 weeks so not bad going I don't think. Bought some new trainers last night as well for my workouts as I'm getting a bit of ankle strain.
Have a great weekend everyone. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
