Morning all. Bobbed on to check my emails cos didn't get the chance yesterday. Had some mailings from TBS (offered 40% off - thing is that I find these easy to ignore now as they seem to constantly have offers on) and Debenhams. Have ignored them as I am planning on going to JL at weekend to see what the Elemis GWP is. Does anyone know? timetospa have a GWP offer on but the freebies on there are mostly shower gel/bath type products rather than skincare. Am hoping this is not going to be the same on offer at JL but have a feeling it will be.

QVC have also sent me the monthly newsletter with a picture of what I think is the OPI TSV. Have to stay strong as there are three colours I really like the look of but I did promise MrM I wouldn't buy it.

My Metro Chic arrived yesterday. Will wear this at weekend.

Happy belated birthday to Itzybitzy and And. Have a good day everyone. Getting nearer to the end of the week.

Did i miss my own birthday? :rotfl:

    Congrats Lady M!

Thanks for the birthday wishes, I felt much, much better yesterday and was able to tuck in to my birthday cake!
Couple of UU's to balance the INs.
The 30 ml Clinique Moisture Surge that was a magazine freebie last year .
WIB? No, don't think so but it's no reflection on the product.
I don't need to wear foundation so it's of no use as a primer.
Because I cycle everywhere to get from A to B I'm quite exposed to the elements, and a product with a good SPF is important, so it falls short on that respect.
It was absolutely lovely to use, and I can well see why people rave about it.

To the other end of things in more ways than one.
Also UU'd A large tube of 'Cotton Tree' Tea Tree and Menthol Foot Cream. It came free with my Circulation Booster, nearly 2 years ago.
WIB? No. The tea tree and menthol were the only thing that stopped it being chucked out straight away. It was well-scented and had a nice warming effect in use.
Unfortunately it was vile to apply, the main ingredient being sticky, greasy petroleum jelly and it just didn't rub in at all in the slightest.
It was made by a company that seem to make a lot of pound shop products, so I'll have to make sure I'm not tempted by those in the future. I have two tubes of the lovely Hydro Urea cream to look forward to now. This rubs in beautifully, really is a pleasure to use.

Grr…computer just ate my post, so am writing this on my work processor!

Congratulations Lady M: what a brilliant excuse to use more moisturiser/ BioOil and pamper yourself silly. ;)

Birthday bumps and slices of cake and party poppers to all those who have found their annual legit way of upping their number of ins! ;)

From Pickletowers...another UU: TBS Cocoa Butter. WIBA? It’s very nice to use and does it’s job well, but once I’ve used up everything I’ve got, I’m going to try to go organic, so it will just be for presents for the minute. ;)

Interestingly, as I was planning on using up a TBS Passion Fruit body butter I bought a good while back after this, so I opened it and dabbed a bit on. When I opened the corresponding body scrub that I bought at the same time a few days ago, I noticed that the smell had gone a bit, so I assume that it’s almost gone off. I had opened this a few times while it was in my drawer for a sneaky smell, though, so I wasn’t that surprised as it has been exposed the air a bit, but I hadn’t even broken the seal on this one, yet the smell was almost gone, too. I guess it has almost gone off as well. What a bummer!

I’d say that these body scrubs/butters are about two years old, and they have gone a bit funny, so if you ladies have huge stashes of them that you are realistically not going to be use up two years or so from purchase, I would seriously recommend Ebaying or giving them away etc. as there’s nothing worse than throwing away a lovely product you know you paid good money for as it has gone off. :(

P.S. Had a mini-pamper today and have used up some more face mask and hair mask.

My aunt has used the Clarins one for years and recommended it to my mum, who also liked it. My mum isn't really into a lot of make up or fake tan and it didn't go streaky on her. :)

Personally I find St Moriz at £2.99 to be as good as any fake tan I've used!

I second the St Moritz! Brilliant for the money!

UU Phytol Oil - nothing special.

I have a few more uu's to report,

S&G Clean on me 500ml, wnba - felt like this was never going to end but I got there and I have another 2 others plus many other shower gels to use now.

Diesel fuel for life, wba - this was a nice every day perfume which I have been using for work.

Rimmel wake me up foundation sample, wnba - it was ok but I prefer mineral foundations at the moment.

Clinique take the day off, wba - this was great at taking eye make up off without irritation. Think I will try the garnier one everyone has been talking about though.

Clinique deep comfort hand cream, wba - this was lovely, it moisturised well and smell great. I wba but I have tons of other hand creams in my stash to work through first.

Feeling very happy with my progress using up the stash, in 2.5 months I have used up 48 products :j. I just need to start taking showers 2 or 3 times a day to use up more shower gel :rotfl: and body cream.

I have two UU to declare the outs are definitely greater than the ins this month, so that means I get to buy my treat next month. Although will aim to increase the outs further.

UU Balance Me Super Moisturising Body Wash - this was from a magazine freebie last year. WNBA thought the scent was on the masculine side and it didn't last long. Have got a Body Shop Earth Lovers one out of the stash.

UU Impulse Loving Words Body Spray 75ml WBA like the scent already have another one open, won't need to buy body spray for a while

One UU - in my bath this morning, the chocolate orange bubbles that I got in my secret easter egg - WIB? probably not if im honest, it was nice - but the smell didnt really last, and it didnt really bubble unless I used loads of it. Would make a lovely present as part of a gift set though, so might buy for someone as part of a hamper type of thing maybe...

and an In - I had an email with freebees from Pabo (dont look if you are faint hearted - I buy mostly lingerie from them but they sell all sorts of things (yes - "those" things) so I went and looked in the sale and bought (for £1.46 and free p&p) a really pretty heart shaped box with rolled up things inside with promises for your other half (things like "ten kisses" that kind of thing!) and one of the freebees was a perfume which is amazingly not too bad at all. oh - and two massage oils and other things.... theres a pack of cards in there too with some incredibly dodgy pictures on (which even managed to get me to raise my eyebrows (no mean feat!) - so naturally my mother has taken those to take to her pensioners club lunch next week....

    have fun ladies !! :D
