Adelight - could you layer the gloss over a brighter coloured lipstick to alter the shade? Or is that too much of a faff? I do wish that you could state colour preferences for beauty boxes...
Rosemary - well done for selling most of your flowers! As you say, at least the toiletries will keep until next time
A little UU:
49. Weleda One Step Cleanser & Toner (10ml) - WMBA as it was gentle and non-drying but on the whole I prefer a separate cleanser and toner.

For my part I see no reason not to post your BBox IN's. I do like it that all the discussion about the merits and disadvantages is now on the BB forum, (which I do drop in on now and then), but I look forward to hearing reviews from everyone on the products you have received. Just my personal opinion and I sort of hope that we can all move on now, this is such a lovely place to be, helpful, funny, non-judgemental, inspiring and so much more.
I agree with you too. I see no reason not to post INs from Beauty Boxes or OUTs to that matter as I would treat them just like any other product.
I'm glad there is now a forum just for general discussion about beauty boxes but part of me thinks this is just a big hurrah for nothing, as this is such a lovely forum to be a member of and we can't start policing what you can and can't post about.
Hope this doesn't upset anyone, just some of my thoughts0 -
Evening ladies
I don't want to be an enabler but I've just found my HG cleanser on Mr B's web site. I haven't been able to get my mitts on it for a while as it has been dis-continued so I'm stocking up whilst I can;)
I remember others liking it too so wanted to share my good fortune

£4 is cheap for S&G, so I think it's very MSE to stock up if it's your HG.0 -
Itzybitzy - I hope that the rain stops before you have to walk to the Docs
I haven't opened the Elemis Pro-Collagen Body Cream yet so I'm quite surprised to hear that it's glittery!
Evilsquid - well done for only have a couple of body lotions in the queue :T I'll be interested to know what you make of the Lavera cream as it's going to be ages before it gets to the front of my queue! :rotfl:
Ah. The rain has just started here...At least my Mum is happy that the garden is being watered :rotfl:
I opened my cream last night as couldn't resist it was lovely. I probably should go back to what I was using but may pack this for holiday.0 -
Nourishing Night Treatment Face Oil by AD Skin Synergy (5ml sample in a useful pump) - I'm really pleased to try this as I love facial oils. (I think this was available on the Latest In Beauty site but I missed out on it)
Please post a review re: this oil Willowbee as we have the same skin type I'm keen to see what you make of it. I keep seeing it on the Q and wondering whether to order. Not that I need any just yet.Clinique freebie coming up for anyone that needs a new mascara :j
(I don't! I have a small drawer full of the blighters :rotfl:)
Swap your old mascara for a sample size of either High Impact Mascara or High Length Mascara.
The promotion is running from the 14th-20th May 2012 and is only at Debs.
I hope that this helps someone
I wish they would extend the freebies to include Lash Power. I ended up chucking the last one of these freebies away so not going to bother and I'm pretty sure I have another one in my stash.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I know this is OT but I know a few of us are doing the live below the line challenge. I didn't update yesterday as I was busy knitting so I'll quickly bore you if I may...
Yesterday's breakfast was bagel and marg (10p), snack of tea cake (4.16) as it was rock hard and I thought it had better be used before it got slung out, cup of tea (2p), lunch egg sandwich with 2 slices bread (17.1p), evening meal of us curry and rice (17.8p) evening threat of a cup of coffee (10p), snack of potato cakes (3p).
Felt hungry yesterday evening but forgot to eat anything when I got knitting so it can't have been that bad can it?
Today we had to go to Bristol for DD's # clinic appointment (not great news) so I had to be a bit careful and take a packed lunch with me for both of us.
Breakfast bagel and marg (8p), lunch couscous and potato cakes which by now are grey(10p), egg Starnes x2 because I was really hungry after a long walk in Bristol (35.6p), 2 cups of coffee (20p), 2 cups of tea (4p), another bagel with Mary (8p).
Am still under budget every day so far. This is only because food is exceptionally cheap here and because I've been at home most of the time. I would really struggle if I had had to be out more often than I have.
My spend for the week so far has been £3.23.03 and I'm off to work shortly for a night shift so will take my trusty couscous with me and hope to survive the night snack free. I could really do with something sweet so will take a little pot of jelly for the early hours and hope to get through until tomorrow ok.
I will have another bagel for breakfast tomorrow afternoon.
YS items have really helped me, I would have had to make a lot more stuff from scratch had it not been for them.
Onto DD's arm. It's still angled. It may heal ok but it may not. There is still a gap both ways in both bones and the consultant said he would have hoped for them to be further advanced by now. He started saying something "well we could..." and then changed his mind and said he wants to see her again next Thursday. She may well need it operated on to pin or wire the bones. No wonder she's been in agony for a few daysDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
