Evening everyone.
Was a busy day today and another busy one tomorrow as I have a school trip I am helping with.
H is off work all week as he has a bad chest infection.
We've had a dry day today but typical rain back tomorrow
Had a lush tea, onion bacon and potato hotspot with lots of garlic, toms and courgettes added.
Feel shattered though now and ready for bed but can't move as Luna has fallen asleep with her head on my foot :rotfl:
Bramble hope poorly neck is feeling better soon xxx
Hugs and spoons all round xxxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Evening all
Bramble - hope you are less sore now
Busy day at work, and then I went to the first night of my new college course (Basic Skills Literacy tutor course). It's actually the 3rd week but I missed the first 2 lessons. Luckily there was another new starter there too. There are only 10 people on the course (only one male! and he is married!!). It seems relatively easy course, and interesting
OS wise - packed lunch taken to work, HM curry from freezer for dinner and cooked rice to go with. Now have 2 x rice portions to go in freezer.
Have a good night all

Evening all! Just home, 2 days off now thank crunchie, DS is home, his room is shining like a shilling, he's very apologetic, no doubt helped by my mother as he had to get her to let him in today when the rest of us were working so she gave him the big grass isn't greener, and you better pull yer socks up young man lecture, we haven't had a chance to talk yet, think he will wait till OH goes to bed or till tomorrow as he knows he broke my temper and needs to do some powerful sucking up.......time will tell if he's got the message but at least he knows I mean business.
Tomorrow I have an appointment with the financial advisor, then will be excavating the holiday clothes, 18th of May is nearly here, hurrah!RIP Iain

Hi all,
Still rotten wind and rain here, rain has eased off this evening but still very cold, still if it is fine to-morrow may get out in the garden for a bit....so long since lawns have been dry enough to cut that I think we may be able to make hay when OH does get to mow!
We had a nice dinner with warm potato salad, chicken and chorizo, still enough chicken left for a few sandwiches to-morrow.
Did some shopping in Aldi this morning...got potatoes at 29c for 2kg, cabbage at 29c and 4kg of cherry tomatoes that I am going to treat as Nigella does....forget what she calls them, you heat oven to max, cut tomatoes in half, turn off oven as soon as they go in and leave overnight....will see how it goes, will eat them quickly if not great, otherwise will have semi-dried tomatoes for some time.
The hospital are turning off life support of my cousin who had cancer op in March....no hope, so will do it to-morrow when all his family are there...one of my closest relatives when I was a child, he taught me to knit over 60 years ago, so am very sad that he hasn't managed to make it.
Hugs to all in need or want of one and congratulations to all who are celebrating. Sleep well and stay safe
