O/S Daily thread Monday 30th April (already)

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 28th April. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!
As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or slow internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred.
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Morning
Bramble - Hope your not too sore this morning xx
RR - Blue tablets , please no encouragment..... TY
Urm up early.....bright and sunny ATM.
Today - Kids to school except DS, eyebrows waxed, Scrap yard with Dad, home to tidy what i didn't do this morning. Tea is LO !!!!!! from Sat
.
Have lovely ones xx

Morning everyone
Love and hugs to those that are having a hard/sad time at the moment x
Sunny, bright and lots of blue sky - forecast is good for today but not so good for the rest of the week! DH up and off to work stupid early. Have a big basket of wet washing to go out on the line in a mo. Boys have strict instructions that if it's dry when they get in from school they need to bring it in - hope they remember.
Lunch yesterday was delicious roast lamb and all the trimmings, so no-one had much else to eat as still too full. Dinner tonight will be pasta with smoked sausage and a creme fraiche sauce - nice easy dinner after being at work all day. Work I imagine will be a manic Monday - deep joy!
Was good yesterday and got some motivation from somewhere, after lunch (and a crafty kip on the sofa!), I prepped all the pack-ups for today, cleaned the kitchen and then got the pile of ironing done - am really pleased as that means I've started the week in a reasonably good position - houseworkwise and washing pretty much up to date.
Hugs to those that want/need them, keep safe and well x

Hi Guys!
Nurses have been. OH just doing my cottage cheese and crackers with OJ, then he has to bus it to the hospital for blood tests which is a fasting one. Haven't a clue how long he'll be. DD is all ready for college and she too has to get a bus, but it'll do her good:D Hopefully she's done her own packed lunch too as OH hasn't been feeling too good.
WM & DW have both been done. Veggie prep for dinner later done and toilet cleaned.
Hope everyone is well.

Hugs for a good day OS friends xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Morning all,
We have Sunshine :T, so nice to see it, I have our bedding in the wm, and will get dd to strip hers and get that washed today as well.
Our heating has been off since early March, and last night I had to put it on for a couple of hours to dry the mounds of washing, It was nice having the warmth, but would rather have the bright days :j
Lots to do today, including hoover through downstairs, clean lounge and kitchen, washing x 2, online shopping, walk dog, take dd to her placement from last week to drop something off, do a few hours office work, cook dinner, go to post office to post ebay parcels, and pick up some undercoat paint, phew will hopefully get it all done.
Dinner tonight is brisket, roasties and spuds, might make some yorkshires, will see how I get on.
Bramble take care of that neck.
Molly Hugs to you xx
Have good days all xx0
