Good Morning All!
Bright sunshine here today - lovely! Have washing on line plus another load in WM. DS spent w/e here as he wanted some help with job application form. He's likely to need major surgery shortly, so have offered to have him here to recuperate if needed. Can't see that living alone would be helpful in that case - but we wait on doctors' meeting tomorrow to decide on course of action.
Am away on choir tour to Germany this w/e so need to get ready for that. Loads to do this week - but actually feel I have some energy for once - think it may be something to do with brighter weather!
Have rather missed what's going on on here, so will just send hugs and best wishes to all who need them just now. Hope you all have a good day today. Take care!Resolution:

Morning All
Molly I hope everything gets sorted for you (((((Hugs)))))
We have a big yellow ball in the sky - think it is called the Sun
it has been so long since we have seen it and it is dry at last :j so I did three loads of washing last night and put it on airers then straight on the line this morning, DS has just got that of that lot all in and I have done the bedding from three of the beds so only one left to do.
I feel a bit brighter today because it is not raining :j so my joints are not as sore as they have been.
Dinner is roast beef etc (Yesterday's dinner that didn't get cooked because we ended up going out on a whim) That will go in the oven in a little while, because we have our main meal at 2.30ish, because DH doesn't get home until 7.45pm and sometimes later... which is much too late for eating a large meal and as DD is veggie she will do herself something when she gets in from college.
The rabbit is still snuffly but he is improving, so fingers crossed.

Afternoon everyone,
Hugs to Molly and LW.
Bramble go and get your neck checked out.
PP hope that your joints are feeling better in the sunshine.
MrsMH welcome back, hope that things look up for you soon.
Well it has been a very busy morning but has settled down a bit this afternoon. I have just spent another hour filling in paperwork for coursework that needs sending off. That is 4 hours in the last few days, my head is spinning!
Nice quiet evening this evening after I have taken DD2 to netball. I am going to sit down with DS and go through some science revision this evening, he has just realised that there are benefits to having a mum who is a science teacher.:D
Tea tonight is something made with left over chicken from yesterdays roast, probably a curry.
Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.:)0 -
Hi everyone
Just got in from work, cant believe I have been missing a beautiful day, where I am I cant see the outside at all and it was still dark when I went out this morning (it was very early). Anyway just want to wish everybody a good day, before I start doing my housework and dinner making:)

evening!
I hope JackieO is having a good break and that the weather improves for her!
Much nicer here today. Managed to dry a couple of loads of washing.
Made another emergency appointment at the dentists - fingers crossed its sorted now - if not I'm going back Thursday. Couldn't stand the pain any longer.
Easy tea of fish and chips here(oven baked) burger for DH instead of the fish. Been at work so didn't fancy anything that took too much effort.
(((hugs))) to those in need of them, off to have a read of the thread now xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Hi all,
Sorry to hear about your prang Bramble-hope your neck is ok.
Mrs MH- welcome back, sorry to hear about your troubles and hope things get better for you very soon.
Hugs to LW,Molly,and PP.
Just waiting for the menfolk to return for tea-its all ready, gammon for 3,chicken for 1,with hm coleslaw, chips and veg.
Quite nice today but still really windy. My neighbour gave me 4 tomato plants, apparently they are plants to grow in baskets-might suit our garden better, dont usually have much success with toms
Strange thing today, when I went to the gate to get the plants off her,I noticed a dog bone in a plastic bag but it wasnt from her.The bag had been ripped so I think bigdog had already had a go at it cos I let him out earlier :rotfl:I think it is the lady down the street, she loves dogs.

Its quiet on here today:cool:
It was a 4hr round trip for OH's blood test this morning using bus and its less than 2 miles away:eek::eek::eek: He's been making calls all afternoon to Trading standards, CAB, legal advice etc and we had to tax the car which was another £74:eek::eek::eek: He's really not good and hoping his results come back okay. On a plus note, he's cut out wheat and he's dropped 6 pounds and says he feels more alert.
Im trying to organise more care for me so he can get a bit more spare time as I do worry about him.
DD home from college and is stressed.
Dinner tonight is Toad in hole, mash, cabbage, carrots and peas.
Hope everyone is okay as it is very quiet here today. Hugs and kisses to all.

Evening all
Nice to see you back Mrs MH-take care.
Bramble1 look after yourself with that neck.
Hi Tappers hope tooth sorted soon.
Sistercas hope daughter feels better soon.
Molly hope appeal is successful.
Not many on here-hope you have all been out enjoying the sunshine. We went to Weston Super Mare this afternoon and had a lovely sunny walk and a nosy in the cs's. I got a book by a new to me author that I had been eyeballing in Waterst***s, some cheap but nice barbeque sauce in the £shop that the family loves and OH got a couple of growbags for 99p each.
I came home much invigorated and made a chicken leek and mushroom pie using the remains of yesterday's roast and leftover pastry from the freezer. It was delish! I will buy a chicken from L*dl again. Also whipped up a lemon drizzle cake and that is nearly ready to come out of the oven.
PP hope car problem is sorted soon.
Jackie O hope you are having a nice break.
Well have a good evening folks.
