Not exactly leading by example but lots done in the garden :D I've also agreed to do 1 hour in my neighbours garden each week so hope to start that tomorrow if the sun comes back.

    List up for tomorrow.

  • Hi all!

Not been around for a while as just not had the energy/time. Found out I'm pregnant and started working so not only I'm knackered all the time but also amount of spare time has gone to next to nothing!

Anyway, I'm hoping that by doing little bits everyday the house won't look like a tip (starting tomorrow though ;)).

Monday - Bit of everything to kick start the week
    level one
    HH tidying or decluttering
Hoover and mop the worst bits
    Level Two
    Meal plan for the week

    Tuesday - Master Bedroom
    level one
Hoover (under the bed too if possible)
    Level Two
    Dust at least one surface
Polish any mirrors or clean the window
Sort somebodies undies and get rid of anything holey or lacking elastic

    I'll see you all tomorrow!

Rather excited by reading this thread. I have Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Depression. This means that I am in a lot of pain and sleepy for much of the time. I hate living in a pigsty but I just struggle to cope with the h/w. My OH is just undomesticated and although he tries so hard he just doesn't see the mess or chaos.

I think I could manage the level 1 jobs each day and I might set OH some of the level 2 or 3 tasks. This would definitely help my depression. So tomorrow is the 1st Day of the Rest of my Life:T

    Thank You
    xx

Hello and welcome.. just to reiterate.. do not do too much.. the tasks all come round again so if you don't feel up to doing it that day then don't worry.. you don't want to face burn out in week one..

KH wasn't even bothered tonight when I told him just the 3 girls were going to his.. he is obviously not interested in spending time with the older ones.. If I thought he was mature enough to handle it I would discuss it with him and make suggestions to help his relationship with them, but he isn't :(. Anyway, we had chinese for dinner tonight so they were spoiled.

DW all sparkly now and I think in my rant at DD3 I mentioned she needed to remember she is going up to high school and the behavioural issues need to stop.. lying, stealing and bedwetting, I have never included the bedwetting in the list of things that have to stop before.. but she is 12 this year!... and I think she has not been wearing the pullups to bed.. my own fault I know. I have had 3 lots of bedding through the wash in the last 3 days.. and I am suspicious! Going to check her later to see if she is wearing one.

And I need some glue for Squeaks Fifi book.. I brokkid it .. I threw it on the floor after she hit me in the face with it and the plastic bit with noisy buttons on fell off :( *guilt* .. I'm not feeling too good still.. I'm not normally this stroppy with the children.
