heating costs, oil and Solar

Looking at buying a new house, the house comes fitted with the following

Warmflow US90HE Bolier
2 velux u12 solar panels
300 lt velux water tank
2500 Ltr Oil Tank

House is brand new it is a 4 bed detached tripple glazed and has 300mm of Insulation

Just wonder if anyone can give me any idea on heating costs over a year, as we currenly have Gas heating and the location of the 'new' house we cant have gas :(

Hi, I would estimate annual heating costs of a house with very good levels of insulation and tripple glazed between £600 to £700/yr or maybe less depending on how much hot water you are likely to use.
Good find, you won't find many new build houses as good as that, so I would definitely put in an offer, good luck.

I also have a 4 bed detached in an 'off gas grid' village, timber frame house, with good insulation, but only 20mm 'K' double glazing, running UFH throughout heated with an 8.5kW Ecodan air source heat pump, very low heating/DHW bills, £450 to £500 average year, whole house under £900, house always warm.
