Roaming internet

I have recently aquired a tablet PC which allows internet access via a dongle. What is the cheapest way in which I can connect to the internet. I am considering a pay-as-you-go deal. I would only require this facility very occasionally when on holiday and nowhere near a hotspot to connect via wifi.

If you have an Orange mobile, you can get a loyalty rate on their wifi dongle - £5/month for 500Mb. Dongle costs £100

£9.99 to buy plus £10 top-up. To use it costs £2/day or £7/week.
FUP is 250MB/day, 500MB/week. Browsing/email still works if FUP reached.
I have one, use it 4 or 5 times a year.0
