  • I am inclined to agree, but I grew up in a much simpler time. I guess it is just how it is nowadays.
    Thinking critically since 1996....

4 year old shouldn't know what a mobile phone is nor should they know what the internet is either.

Because BBC promotes it doesn't mean to say its safe and natural for a 4 year old to use, Plus bbc are a bunch of idiots them selfs.

Why shouldn't they know what a mobile phone is? Children learn from adults around them. Technology is a part of life.

And "natural"? Well, plastic is generally unnatural, yet is seems most toys are made of it. Perhaps all microchips are unnatural, so all childrens electronic toys are out. What about TV - clearly unnatural, presumably no child can watch that?

I guess in pcombo-world small children can only play with grass, which may be acceptably safe and natural.

Finally, you haven't answered my original question yet. What, in your view, is the acceptable age for which children should be allowed to use technology?

You can apply a purchase PIN to the Play / Market app which is the best way to stop this happening in the future. In the Market app, go to settings and set the PIN for purchases.

I really cannot believe you all think its fine for children aged 4 ill say it again AGED 4 to be using mobile phones with internet access.

It is disgusting you all sicken me every single one of you who think its fine.

Mobiles phones etc shouldn't be used untill maybe 10 and onwards even that is still young.
  • If the developer gives you a refund I'll be surprised, I wouldn't.

Was it a free game from an indy developer, or something from a large label?

If it's from a small indy dev, then at least you've given them a tiny bit of money to live off. If it's a big label then they might be more inclined to give it back, because it's a drop in the ocean compared to actual money that a real person lives off.

Nobody has said that a child of that age should have their own mobile phone but there's absolutley nothing wrong to allow a child, albeit supervised, to play the odd game on one.

I think you should move on and troll somewhere else.
