I understand that it has been known that some underhand people ring the local DHSS etc and pretend to be an ex-employers - wanting to send on money owed, P45's? - not sure what exactly but you will need a fowarding address.
Not that I know anything about this sort of thing but it is rumoured that if you have office sounds in the background you stand a better chance.
Clearly this is a disgraceful method and I couldn't possibly advise you to do this sort of thing.0 -
Digressing for a moment, I have had trouble getting my deposit back from all my landlords in the past. Though so far they have just been gently or passively obstructive rather than doing a runner. The new deposit system may not stop the real b@stards, but it will mean that the ones hoping to get away with it will stop.
Sorry to go off topic there. Not sure I can add much that hasn't already been said. Let us know how you get on."Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.0 -
My first post, a friendly corporate investigator at your disposal.
I often use experian and equifax to trace people because they usually provide forwarding addresses, alias information etc. Don't know whether you would have access to these as a consumer but most good bailiffs should do.0
