    Not now. I got fed up with Groupon excuses and got a refund using a charge back on my credit card.
    If you really did wish to help others you would stop promoting those dodgy companies.

    I bought a 2 night hotel stay in Northumberland at the beginning of April. My partner and I planned to use it the Sun and Mon nights after our wedding in the area (groupon website stated it was vaild sun-thurs) Rang hotel to book the following day, they claim it's only vaild mon-thurs, which is of no use to us.
    Emailed customer services asking for a refund, got a reply within a couple of days saying I could either have a refund in groupon credits or back to my card. I replied saying I wanted my refund back to my card.
    Waited and waited and no refund ever appeared, emailed again asking why there was a delay and got a response saying I can now only be refunded in groupon credits as it has been over 7 days since I purchased the deal!
    I requested the refund 2 days after I purchased the deal!! I'm sure they can't just change their mind like this?!?

    Shocking customer service! I would have been quite happy to use them again had the refund gone through smoothly but not now!

    @GrouponUK company representative why do people have to post on a public forum before groupon bother to try and sort it?

    @Groupon, I have a complaint - I purchased a hair cut/colour last year, which was severely overbooked and they extended the validity. A full year on (i had constantly tried to book with no luck) Groupon contacted me to say that they had withdrawn the offer. They then refunded my credit card, however, this card had been cancelled about 9 months earlier due to fraud. The credit card company have absolutely no record of this transaction, yet groupon are insisting this has been refunded and there is nothing they can do. Yet another waste of money. And the poor customer service I have received has made me give up on yourselves for good.
