Gas tumble dryer

We have decided to change our oil heating to gas and I asked about getting the pipework done at same time in the event we have to buy a new tumble dryer in the future and we would have the option of a gas one. Now I am not so sure Can anyone who has one answer a few questions for me please. I know they need to be installed…
