Advice on offer re Tesco vouchers
gallygirl
Am selling £48 of Tesco vouchers and have been offered £96 to sell now. 3 questions:
1. Should I?
2. How do I do this?
3. Could this hack people off & lead to negative feedback?

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

If it looks too good to be true, it usually is.
Your buyer is either an idiot or a scam artist.
Either way you won't get your money.0 -

Woah there, hang on a minute.
As vouchers are worth 4x in deals - this makes your vouchers worth £192 in deals. The buyer would be getting a good deal at effectively half price.
Before you stress about "zomg is it a scam" check out their history and stuff and make an informed opinion.
You'd have to edit your item to add a BIN of £96.
Let the buyer know you're doing this so that they can buy the item. It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -
Sorry for the duff advice above.
I was still in the mindset caused by this thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=3930200 -
Don't worry.
Tescos vouchers are alway the exception to the rule because of their face value vs deal value. It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

they are worth 4x that in deals so the buyer would still be saving £96
hava you had any bids yet? if not add a buy it now for £96
do you mean could other bidders or watchers get hacked off? maybe, but only the buyer can leave you feedback on the transaction0 -
i'd check out the completed listings to see what they go for. I've a feeling they generally go for higher than twice their value because of the deal value but i'm not completely sure

Think you'll find that some do and some don't, so maybe if they have good feedback it's worth adding the BIN0

The vouchers always have a name and serial number printed on them, can they be transferred?0

Mocha - I understand some people have had problems with this so have clearly stated this in listing, alos said they shold notify me of what they want and I will claim.
Aqueos - didn't know you could search completed listings
, thanks for this it will be invaluable in future!!!!!
The potential buyer has only bought 1 item - yesterday - low value, positive feedback already.......
Have emailed to say am leving for auction, however now I know how to seach history I may sell in advance - some go for double, some for less so is a bit of a risk.
Thanks all. Thanks button disabled at the mo, will thank you all later!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

The vouchers are not transferable. More commonly the seller changes them into the deals wanted by the buyer and sends the deal vouchers on.
