Arrived safely a MIL's. I'd packed sarnies, squash (for OH) and a flask of tea (for me) plus lidl twixes. OH decided she did need a coffee about half way down. £3.20  fortunately had costa points from my non mse days. Next time i shall ignore her sayng she won't need coffee and make a flask anyway! But am comforted by the fact that before we would have stpped 3 times, buying drinks twice and food and drink once (i hasten to add we did stop, just not to buy. It's a long way from dundee to nottingham). Stopping in premier inn tonight. Bit concerned that, having started doing os scottish hamper for uncle's 80th and being told by mum it's strictly no presents that in fact everyone will be bringing presents. Hmmmmm willwait and see.

    Morning everyone.
Thanks for the good wishes, I can't wait to get back up there again tomorrow. Going into uni to get work together today, then OH is picking me up tonight and staying at his so he can drop me at a closer station (and mke my ticket cheaper) tomorrow. He has been sorting stuff out with our new house and basically yup we have a new house and it's very nice. We need a new bedframe, to pick up some extra furniture from his family and get to some carboots at some point.

Turns out the sun is shining here, no rain forecast, so WM is on 2nd load now, and a 3rd is ready to go!

And I have just discovered there is a food festival today near where I go to uni so am going to pop over shortly. It's £3 entrance but has over 100 stalls so should be good, hoping for some free samples! :rotfl:

I have finally dyed my hair so just need to get dressed and then clean bathroom before I go out!

The washing is done & hung over the rads, I have a covered washing line but see no point in getting soaked walking across the garden to it.
I have made 2 pans of soup, one is curried parsnip, the other is sweet potato & red pepper.
I'm about to get the sewing machine out & start on some 'paid for' sewing.
    Hugs Hester

Hi there all, grey and miserable here but dry at the moment. Not going to bother putting washing out though. nice but cold walk with Jack this morning and one of his doggy pals so we went a bit further. Jack had been a bit sick this morning and very worryingly he did not want his breakfast(very unusual for a Labrador!!) just wanted to eat grass in the garden. Had to go and do shopping so left him with DS, on our return we had one very waggy, tailed boy who then wolfed down his breakfast and tried to con us out of our lunch!!!!! going to make Lasagne for tea after a quick swish and swipe.
Hope the weather improves for JackieO's holiday and hugs to all who need them esp adelight, Lou , LW, Molly, Sunflower and Penny pincher. Hope your friend is Ok Moorhen it is very sad to lose a well loved family pet.
JackieG, lovely to see you posting, that penguin always makes me smile. Hope you are enjoying being at home, you sound very busy.

I had a lovely time at the Food Festival. I went on my own but bumped into 2 of the ladies from uni, and 2 ex work colleagues!! It was really busy there. I had some yummy samples of cheese, jams, chutneys and veggie burgers :j. I bought a giant focaccia loaf and a small truckle of cheddar, plus a cute little ring similar to this one . It was off my ex-colleagues stall, and I only paid £2 for it :D. I've cut up the focaccia and frozen half of it.

Just been pottering round since I got back, going to make a quick early dinner now before I go to the cinema with the girls to see the Avengers later.

Hope you all have a good evening

    afternoon all!

not read the thread yet but I will shortly.

Been at work since early doors. Teeth still giving me a lot of stick - time to move onto the stronger painkillers.

Washing hanging indoors - weather not too clever here.

    House tidy.

Easy tea of pizza and potato rosti.

(((hugs))) to all those in need.

    take care all x

    evening all

tappers - hope the tooth feels better soon
    jackie 0 - have a great holiday
hugs to adelight and pennypincher and anyone who else who wants/needs one

has been a miserable day weather wise here :( not hleping my washing dry! ds spilt his drink over our bed this morning adding to it... hubby has been stripping the hallway. ds has had a much needed lazy day. our weekend away last week has caught up with us all. ds has come out in a horrible cough and cold and has fallen asleep 3 days on the trot about 4ish. he didnt even wake til 9.30 this morning... still he must need it and he will still sleep tonight. just a bit later. maybe we'll all snuggle up and watch a dvd. have some ice cream and popcorn...

other than that, not a lot been happening. bump is still progressing well. must update with a pic on fb over weekend. heard baby heartbeat in the week and felt the first flutters this morning. still worrying (a lot :o) that something is going to go wrong but trying not to. sickness is much better but still there...

anyway before i bore you all to death, have a nice evening all :)
