Can I get out of an Orange contract?

Hi,
My husband in the HM Forces and we've just found out that we're going to be posted to Germany at the end of the year. I took out a 24 month contract with Orange in February and don't really want to pay for something I can't use whilst we're overseas.
Does anyone know if there is a way I could cancel my contact when we leave the UK without having to pay off the rest of the contract? Do Orange have any special 'get-out clauses' for servicemen and their families?
Any information would be gratefully received!
Thanks!

No they don't , pay off the contract and sell the handset to recoup some of your outlay , when you return consider a contract that will suit your change of circumstances better.0

I think Orange can suspend your husband's account in this case. However, IIRC it's up to 6 months only, that is unlikely to help much.0
