I find a bucket and sponge is better than a poll, attached or not. :)

What's the difference between a bucket and sponge and a manual/hand car wash?

A manual car wash means something like this: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_66Xz44hEwsw/TVHQqEXuM-I/AAAAAAAAAyA/-ScbU9TkJT0/s1600/Wassende+auto+in+een+wasbox+achtergrond+terminal+cdi.jpg as opposed to https://farm3.static.flickr.com/2529/4064900314_014f6576dd.jpg

Two bucket method with Meguiars NXT shampoo and microfibre mitt. Dry off with Uber towel.
  • None of the above - its the two bucket method with a sheepskin mitt then patted dry with a micro-fibre drying towel for my motor.

I wash mine in the rain. Sounds mad, but the free shower of clean water from above washes off all the suds and dirt as I go.

Snow foam applied with decent power washer and left to dwell, rinse, wash using decent shampoo & microfibre wash mit and power wash again. Use hose to rinse back of arches, dry with large drying towel.
