Telewest Bluyonder 256Kbps upgrade

Incase anyone is thinking of upgrading from this £18 tarif, hold your horses.

In May this will be upgraded for no charge to 512Kbps.

I was on the 512 k service since it arrived in Bristol - with "free" upgrade to 1 MB. As 512 k is good enough for my needs, I might consider saving the £7.01/month - unless there is a data volume per month cap - can't immediately see one.

thanks for info guys im on telewest 256k so look forward to that, about time too i reckon as there as so many faster services available for same price. should really give us 750k at least i reckon

Does anyone know what the upload speed for the 256 (soon to be 512) is and what it will change to(if at all)?
I signed up for the 512 service with 128 Upload. They increased the DL to 768 and now 1MB but have still kept the upload at 128

AFAIK the only service's with increased upload speeds are the 2MB and 4MB. I'm on the 2MB service and the upload is 256.
