    Hi,

The council tax bill is £1100 per year but we got in to a muddle at the start of the year so we are now playing catch up.

I ran the council this morning and we owe £225 the payment tomorrow will take it to £200 and then it will go down rapidly in the next month or so.

    Hi,

A way of increasing your household income is to sell other peoples junk..

Use sites like https://www.freecycle.co.uk click onto the 'freebee' icon ....you'll see loads of stuff people are giving away big and small......

You will need to arrange pick up, but if you have a car are are willing to do the leg work then all you have to do is list the items on ebay once yo get them and that it.....

remember you don't have to take the items, so if you go and see something and its not as described just walk away.... In my exprience people tend to only give away stuff thats worth something ...but they haven't got the time to go the listing etc...give it a try....you never know ..

I think if you're going to ebay freecycle stuff then it's only fair to be up front about it. Give the item a chance to go for free and then ebaying it is fair enough.

    Thats True,

After posting last i thought about the idea and that the idea of freecycle is o help other people for free and not to profit from other peoples items.

They could help someone who is desperate and in need instead of someone trying to make a quick buck

The idea of freecycle is to prevent landfill.

If you sell it, so be it.
