Because there's no need for her to be on it. She has only been in her employment a very short time so wouldn't have been any advantage to the mortgage application anyway. The building society are however aware that she will be living at the property.0 -

Have checked with mortgage advisor and they've not got my wife down as a dependant.0

Quick update, Leeds have now requested 2 payslips from my second employment...getting a bit concerned now though.0

After a loooong wait, I phoned Leeds Building Society late this afternoon and they confirmed over the phone that they are now willing to lend the full amount I need in order to buy our house. They did say it's subject to the underwriter looking at the memorandum of sale that was sent over to them yesterday but definately a positive move forward0

Glad you got there in the end gaz. It's not easy to get a mortgage at the moment, especially at the levels you were looking at.
