STEER WELL CLEAR OF THESE PHONES!!!
I went into the T-mobile shop on Saturday to set up a new contract, I ended up getting a Nokia N73. The bloke in the shop told me that they have stopped stocking the LG chocolate as they sold 60 in December last year and within a few weeks they had 45 returns with faults.. it is supposed to be the worst phone on the market.
No wonder argos are selling them for half price with orange

I ve had mine for 3 months. only problem i had was syncing it with the pc. can't say it's got any mechanical faults but I wouldn't recommend one, it scratches really easily, the volume is not loud at all, unless you've got the phone to hand ,you wont hear it ringing and the alarm wont sound if the phone is set to silentBring back mark and lard NOW! or else (please) clique member no. 10 :j

Nah I think he knew exactly what he was talking about... I have loads of friends who have these phones and they all say they are complete rubbish.
Why on earth would tmobile stop selling them otherwise?

W550i, rubbish phones! constant problems with the screen... second time now im going to have to take it back, and i have 20 pounds worth of texts on my phone to be used by the 18th March - NOT GOOD AS IT TAKES 2 WEEKS TO HAVE IT REPAIRED!!!
Am fuming, first the screen went completely, now the screws have come out the back and fallen off!
Will DEMAND they pay me 10 pounds credit for o2, for selling me a faulty phone which isn't fit for purpose.
Glad its still under 1 year warrantee, but only until 28th March... (my bday)0 -
i have this phone as a clearance and while no real technical faults, the battery flap has become loose and also this phone was designed to look good and all features like se/nokia wud have, have been sacrificed. nevertheless im still happy with it and looks make it a xcellent phone.0

Sales people will say things about a phone mainly based on what commission they will recieve from selling it first. Personal opinion second.
Probably didn't get much commission selling the Chocolate. I sold a lot of those phones when I was at Phones 4 U. Other than a crappy spec (Imo) it wasn't too bad a phone. Only major flaw was the calls disconnecting if the phone was pressed to close to the ear.
Also the worst phones for coming back for repair were always brand new N series phones - the first batch causes nightmares.0 -
