Morning all, we have no rain :eek: sure it will arrive at some point during the day.

Have got the mother of all headaches, woke at 3am and felt wide awake so got up pottered round took woofer for a slow 'walk' round the garden incase he needed a wee, came in and he promptly started snoring.

Have parent / teacher consults later today for the boys. All should be good fingers crossed.

Having a night at my friends tonight , much better than going out atm, so will make sure I have plenty of tissues. She is actually coping on the outside better than I thought she would, on the inside I know she is broken.

Dinner is steak in french stick with lots of salad and actifry chips

Got to pop the last load in the machine , that will be the washing done:j:j till uniforms come off tonight.

Must finish off ds2 ironing so he can finish packing as he goes back Sunday morning. It has been lovely having him here , he is only back at uni for 4 weeks , then he is home for the summer. The whole family back together.:):)
Hope everyone is keeping well, hugs for everyone.

Moorhen so sorry to hear that your friend's dog is to make her journey across the Rainbow Bridge. It's a horrible decision to have to make; but when you know in your heart that keeping them here would be unkind, you know it's what you have to do.:( I wish her a pleasant journey.

    moorhen - (((hugs))) to your friend x x x x

still raining here - a really miserable day. DH is on his way home - soaked through again and full of aches and pains with his arthritis.

A nice afternoon nap will be in order - I'll probably join him as I didn't sleep well last night as DH was twitchy all night(restless legs)

Bit of ironing to do later but thats about it - got a very busy week next week - 6 out of 7 days at work so I need to charge my batteries up ready.

    take care all x

    Hi all.

Sneaking a quick break from the magazine writing/editing. Am still really not in the mood, it's like drawing teeth today.

Fortunately Rev is out to lunch today so don't have to cook. An omelette will be fine for me.

Hester: Good luck to your DD and good luck to the little boy who desperately needs a good home and some loving care. Your DD must be one special person.

    Afternoon all
Today has been a day from hell at work, I had toast for breakfast at 6:30 & nothing since, I missed lunch as I was dealing with horrible children! You'd think their parents would be ashamed of their behaviour, but no, their kids are perfect!
Hubby is working 'til 6 or 7, we're treating ourselves to fish & chips when I collect him.
He's working all weekend so I'll be catching up with my paid for sewing.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Afternoon All

    Quiet on here today!

HH - Sorry you have had such a bad day at work. Didn't you know that all children are angels? I am only in a primary and that's bad enough for me. Good luck to your DD, she is a very special person and that little boy will be a lucky lad, hope all goes well.

Moorhen - Big hugs to you and your friend, I still haven't got over losing our dog nearly 3 years ago.

I bit the bullet today and spoke to my boss and took the advice on here of taking someone in with me (sorry, can't remember who it was but thank you). Will put it in writing as requested and see what happens now. Never a dull moment, eh?

Off to other job later, sausage & mash on a plate for DD, I just ate the sausages! Washing dried on the line, it's been lovely here but think it's going to rain soon.

Have a good weekend everyone, take care. XX

    Evening all

I have such a bad headache :( I had such a busy day in work! Non-stop. I love my job, but I do hate the fact that when I'm on leave nobody covers for me so I have to catch it all up myself. But on the good side I managed to recruit 8 young people for my next group, which is great cos I had none this morning!!

OS wise - LO dinner taken for lunch, yday's laundry drying still, dishes to wash.

Think I'm just gonna veg out in front of the tv tonight. Need to dye my hair but CBA!
